How did he know?

"You're welcome girlie" said Collin hugging me. I just got offered a job! IN the hotel. I can feel safe, be happy, AND work! Most definitely pay off my room and border. Before Collin could get to far down the hall I called out his name to ask a specific question that has been running in my mind for the past four days.

"How did you know I was running from someone?".

He tucked some hair behind my ear.

"Well at first I thought, why would such a young girl be entering the hotel all dirty, breathing hard and have a suit case that was all scratched up".

I mean he's not wrong...if I were him, I'd be wondering that to

"Makes since..." I sighed. He nodded then gave me a hug. "I'll tell you everything this afternoon, about the job!" He said already halfway down the hall. "Ok!"

I went over to my bed and flopped down on it, just the same way I did when I first got here...

My phone soon started going off like crazy.

Holy shit

5 missed calls and 15 text messages from Michael...

I had no time for him...but I read one of the text messages anyways...

"Han Han Where are you?! Just got home and you aren't here! I told you not to go out!!!" Man he spent awhile with the boys...I blocked him and deleted all the missed calls from my calls list. I prayed he wouldn't find me. I sat...and cried...then cried some more...

Stop crying Xena! Be strong...

I sniffed then checked the clock next to my bed. I gasped.

Lunch!

I grabbed my shoes and slipped them on and ran out the door. When I got to the lunch room, I stopped running to catch my breath, then casually opened the door. No heads turned. "Goodness, you alright? you're ten minutes late!" Katlyn said. I looked up at her. "I'm all good, just got into doing what I needed to do". She laughed quietly. "I totally understand".

"Thank you for a wonderful lunch" I told the chef. He nodded, then laughed a little bit. "You're welcome!" He said proudly. "Xena!" Shouted Collin behind me. I turned around. "I got some great news about the job!".

I was hoping he'd say that!

"Tell me, tell me!" I said excitedly. "You start tomorrow, and here, I got the list of rooms you have to clean, which would be all of them" He said handing me a clip board filled with room numbers on them. Goodness, i gotta clean my OWN room, well then.

"Thank you". He nodded then walked off to go talk with the manager.

I now have my first ever job! Of course I was nervous, but, I'm used to cleaning so I guess it won't be to bad

Man, little does Xena know it will be bad. But we will all get there soon, just give it three or two more chapters. I'm excited for Xena, what about you?
