I ran and ran until I reached a dark forest.
Where was I?
Where would I go from here?
I wasn't so familiar with this forest. Even though it was at the back of the house this whole time, of course I never knew cause I've never been back here before. Turning my flashlight on from my phone, I looked around, I saw outlines of trees, logs and big rocks.
I walked for a few hours...and nothing seemed to change in the scenery. It was like I've been walking in place for the past 3 hours. Which I wasn't cause I could hear cars and trucks up ahead. I looked up from the ground. My face, hands and clothes were dirty. I was drenched in sweat.
I walked slowly towards the road slowly and weakly dragging my suit case along with me.
When I finally got to the road, the lights shined on me like I was about to preform a song. Taking out my water bottle, which surprisingly the water was still cold, I looked up to see a man across the way standing there, looking at me. I squinted so I could get a better look at him, but to many cars were going by. A big semi truck went by, it passed, then the man was no longer to be seen. "What" I said surprised. Weird, I thought gulping down my water.
I walked along the road. Not knowing what would happen to me next.
Or where I would go.
