I walk into the kitchen looking for something to eat. I didn't find nothing I liked so I popped some ice cubes in my mouth and headed back to my room. As I was walking I felt something hit my shoulder. I put my hand on my shoulder as I felt a sharp pain. I heard pieces of glass hit the floor.
"Make me some food bitch who you think you is!?" I hear my mom yelling as she starts drinking from her bottle of liquor.
My mama was all I had left and I can't risk her kicking me out. I wouldn't be able to stay with my friends because the community we grew up in did not mess with no gay shit. If I get kicked out I could have no one to stay with.
I go get me some leftovers and warm it up in a pan. I put the food in a bowl and brought it to the living room. I laid the old bed sheet on the ground and put the food on it. I got up and looked at my mom.
She waved at me signaling me to go away since she was annoyed by my presence. I go to my room and unlock my phone. The way my mama treated me ain't bother me too much. I have a bed to sleep on, a roof over my head, food to eat and shit I even got a phone so if she wants to treat me the way she do then it's alright.
I start thinking of a song to download when I see a notification on my phone.
