All I could breathe was smoke. The dangerous one.

I slowly sat up as the dust settled onto my uniform. Everything was on fire around me. Shujin Academy was on fire. Actually, no.

The school was bombed.

And I among a bunch of other students and teachers were trapped in here. Nothing but rubble and a bunch of pieces from the ceiling landed on my leg. My leg was screaming in pain and soreness as I felt my head throb in pain. My entire uniform was covered in dust. The school roared loudly as more pieces from the building collapsed to the ground. The fire surrounding the school grew more.

Ah... I can't move...

My head couldn't stop pounding. I feel like I've been hit with a thick textbook. I kept hearing a ring as I looked around confused. I heard students and teachers scream for their lives. I could hear the sirens from all around go off. One for the school and the nearby ones.

Ambulances? Firefighters?

I soon felt dizzy again. My body leaned back slowly. Coughing repeatedly, I could feel my heart pounding so fast. The smoke was ready to prevent oxygen entering my body. I didn't expect to die so soon at this school. My mom and dad immedtiately popped into my brain. My lip quivered in shiver and fear.

How did I end up here? Well... it's a very long, complicated story. Let's rewind 10x speed shall we?

There.

Let's start from the early 80s in Seattle, Washington, shall we? The United States of America. Home of the cocaine in Coca-Cola, cheesy ballads/slow jams, Phil Collins, and ridiculous mullets.

There once was a girl named Rachel Yu. She was a phenomenal athlete. Big on volleyball, track and field, and javelin throwing. During her psychology class (mainly about drugs), she meets the love of her life, Eric Park.

He was super handsome and from Los Angeles, Califorina. She thought he was out of her league. He was studying business and law. Two different communities in college. However, he did his best to charm her and make her laugh.

Shortly they began to date. Grew serious with each other within eight months. Pretty impressive, huh? Rachel graduated a year before Eric. Once they both collected their degrees, they moved in with each other into a studio apartment.

Eric and Rachel had a traditional Korean wedding in 1992 followed with an American wedding. The beautiful long-sleeved wedding dresses were in. Rachel got the chance to wear and designed by her fashion designer friend, Gabby Sanchez.
