One week later"Alizeh can you help me with the table." Ma yelled from the kitchen. I quickly ran to her assistance.
After an hour the whole dinner table was set and we were waiting for them to arrive. Yes, we were having guests home. Aunt Rasha and her family were coming home for dinner. I usually don't like it when guests come home. I feel bored. But this time the gush of excitement was uncontrollable within me. After all i would meet Zaik. Yay!
My chain of thoughts broke short when I heard the doorbell ring. I quickly jolted up and ran to the door and flung it open to find three people staring at me with sweet smiles plastered on their faces. I recognised aunt Rasha and assumed the slender cute girl to be Safina and the uncle to be Uncle Ibrahim. I smiled at them. "Asalamualikum" i greeted, i was disappointed Zaik wasn't here. My face fell at the thought. All my excitement went in vain.
I hugged Safina. "Hello how are you" she asked enthusiastically.
"Alhamdulilah. So what's up" i asked."Aly will you let them in today" mom asked. Dad was home finally. He laughed away at my act. I missed his company so much!
I made way for them. Everyone was seated on the couch enjoying the refreshing drinks. I couldn't control my urge to ask someone about Zaik. "Zaik must be here in a moment. He had been to office for some important work" uncle Ibrahim informed. I felt a chill running down my spine. Safina and me were engaged in some random conversation. I must admit i enjoyed her company already. She had a fun and loving nature.
Suddenly i heard a rough yet soothing voice. "Asalamualaikum" this voice, is so familiar to me. I quickly jolted to the door. Where i witnessed a shock. Was that Zaik? He was none other than the jerk who threw the ball at me last week. This can't be. He came forward and greeted everyone. "Zaik this is Alizeh. I hope you remember her?." Aunt Rasha says hopefully. My heart stopped for a second when our eyes met. He still had the same hazel eyes. Stupid Alizeh of course the eyes would be the same. How could someone's eyes change?
Shock was clearly evident in his face too. I quickly averted my gaze. "Asalamualikum" i heard him say. "Waalaikumsalam" i mumbled. My legs were rooted in the spot. All my hopes and happiness shattered all together. He was also clearly disappointed.
I excused myself and went to the kitchen to get some water my throat went dry all of a sudden. So many thoughts were flooding within me.
Zaik's POV
I was so excited to meet Alizeh. My Aly. I have so many memories cherished with her. But now when i met her, dissapointment was not letting go of me. She was the same girl i had shooted the ball on. My bad fate. She was so rude. She was pretty though with fair complexion, dreamy eyes that held so many emotions. Her hair was not visible due to her hijab. I was stunned even that day when i had met her. One look at her passsed on so many emotions. Hidden emotions which her eyes spoke.
But she has attitude and she is very stubborn. God knows where she vanished all of a sudden. I excused myself to wash my hands. When i was walking to the directions where aunt Almas had told me. I saw her coming from the opposite direction. On seeing me she quickly turned away ready run. "Alizeh?" I called. She turned around rolling her eyes. She raised her eyebrows questioningly. "Look i did'nt mean whatever i did that day..." She cut me off. "Oh please! Save the crap for someone whose interested. And you know what! I am definately gonna seek revenge no matter what. Alizeh never gives up on her words." She huffed folding her arms against her chest.
"I am waiting!" I retorded and walked away. I like her confidence. She probably dosen't what i can do to her in a snap of my fingers.
I returned to the lounge where everyone was chit chatting. "Bhaiyu are you okay" safina asked sensing the problem. I nodded and smiled at her. She is everything for me. She means the world to me. My baby sister. I love her so much that i don't miss any chance of picking her up from college. The other day i was waiting for her and the little boys insisted me to play football. I was an ex student in that college. A great footballer and all rounder as well. Extremely loved by all the teachers. The apple of everyone's eyes.
I love playing football. But business has kept me so busy that i often forget the rest of the world. However i am glad that i established my own empire in the competitive and cunning world of business.
RainCo. Of advertising is well known all over the country with my own hardwork. I always wanted to be independant that's why i rejected my father's offer to takeover the Ibrahim Inc. The successful One though.
Probably this girl is not aware of what i can do to her. My ego was not getting away anytime soon. But my heart is battling with my mind. Alizeh was your world! Don't forget that. She's your princess. My heart screams.
Don't let this go Zaik Ibrahim my egoistic mind fought back. I smirked as i saw her glaring at me from the farther end of the lounge. But her eyes are so captivating, she's so cute. How i wish i could pull her cheeks one day!
.
Urgh Zaik there you go again. Shut up i internally shouted to myself!Alizeh's POV
I was tossing and turning for a long time. Suddenly i sat up as an amazing idea popped up in my mind.
Zaik ke bache ab dekhte hain tum mujhse kaise jeetenge. I laughed to myself. Imaging the whole scenario.
After a while i slipped down the stairs to hunt for some food. Finally i found my favorite choco chip icecream. Taking it back to my room i tiptoed carefully making to not wake anyone up.
While enjoying my treat i checked my phone, scrolling through my feed. Again an idea popped a stupid one though. I quickly typed Zaik ibrahim and waited anxiously for his profile to appear. It wasn't difficult to find him on instagram as he was well established Opening his profile i checked his posts as it was a public account.
He seemed too classy and exiquiste. More like a cold hearted beast. Wait what! Why on earth am i even stalking him?
I quickly put my phone away. I wanted to share the whole mess with someone. I felt so frustrated not knowing if i am going on the right path.
Dua...
I quickly called her up. "Hello " she mumbled in a sleepy voice. It was 3:00 am. "Aly are you okay. Is everything fine." She asked jolting up as if it hit her. "Relax i am fine. I wanted to tell you something!" I say. "Alizeh yaar not again. Dont tell me you called me at this hour of night just to narrate some story" she groaned.
"Okay fine i am not telling" i said drammatically. "No spill it what is it!" She asked. I told her everything. "Haha jacked ain't you i had told you the other day to let it go. But no, you had to be the outstanding stubborn Alizeh" she says. '' okay meri ma! Now tell me what to do! There must be a way" i said. "Yah there is a way leave him alone. Stop this! Back off! You have no idea where you are taking this.." I cut her off immediately "back off? I am asking for an idea to seek my revenge. No way! After what he's done that day. I owe him a pitiful revenge. " i said. "Okay bye" i said upset at her that she did'nt stand by my side.
Urghhh! I will execute my plan soon. Mr. Zaik ibrahim.
I wickedly laughed and went to do some studying and rest of my activites.
Hey guysss! Wassup! Asalamualikum.. Here's to the new update. What do you think is Alizeh's new plan. Will their hate ever be replaced with any other magical emotion? Guess guess !
