Zaik's POV
"Okay so we accept your offer" i said concluding the meeting. Esha had explained the merits and demerits very well. To be honest i am quite impressed. She did a good job."Congrats Mr. Zaik Hussain!" Esha said gleefully extending her hand. "Thank you Ms. Esha khan" i replied shaking hands with her. "Esha, babe let's go" jack her boyfriend i suppose yelled from the other end of the corridor. "Go away. Will come soon." she rolled her eyes. Ew! These relationships are so toxic. Honestly i hate relationships because it's a complete loss of time. Instead you could be more productive and earn respect. I have never felt interest in any girl up till date and i won't.
"I think you should take your leave." I said casually. "Yeah" she said looking unhappy. After the meeting i left the office and headed to Safina's Uni. She was already waiting in the gate. This time i didn't get to see that hazel orbs. I was disappointed.
Wait what! Why am i disappointed, in fact i don't even care. Huh!stupid me!
It's been so long i have spoken to her to the last time i spoke to her was that rain incident. I just don't know why i want to avoid. Just a distraction. It's been literally so long i am craving for those hazel eyes.
To be honest i don't remember any incident with her from my childhood. I feel like she's a whole new person and i have never met her before. I can't recollect anything whatsoever. Sometimes i doubt if our parents are making a fool out of nothing. But something in me wanted to protect her, because she's so much tortured and there's an untold story in her eyes. Even which she dosen't knowi suppose.
"Bhaiiii" Safi yelled. I was startled. "What!? I am not deaf" i said annoyed. "Oh yeah i could really see that. I have been calling you nearly three times. Looks like someone's lost in the lala land" she said grinning. "Ohh" was all i said. "Wait! I guess i have already guessed it. Am i gonna get a bhabi" she asked grinning ear to ear.
I frowned. "Are you insane?" I shrieked defending myself. "Yah most probably" she said sarcastically rolling her eyes.
After reaching home, Imran was home. He is my cousin, business partner and friend as well. He always . "Look who's here it's Mr. Devil and his sister." He said laughing. "Very funny, by the away why are you here" i asked. "Aunty look how your son treats me. He even hates my presence." He said pouting.
"Zaik!" Mom said warningly. "Get over it! Drama queen" i said walking up to my room to find him right behind me, "don't worry i won't leave you anytime soon" he said. "Ew you're so sticky" i commented relaxing on my bed. "Yeah brother! Because i love you so much." He said. "You're a Gay" i asked trying to control my laughter. "No i am very much straight" he said horrified. I started laughing at his expression.
Alizeh's POV
"I am done for the day! Let's go" i groaned frustrated. "Yeah yeah let's go before you eat me up." Dua chuckled catching up with me while i was walking fast. "Very funny" i retorted. We were currently heading to the nearest Starbucks to grab some coffee. Yes i am a coffee person. I can survive with coffee all day and Starbucks is only a five minute walk from Uni and the ambiance there is a total plus point which i absolutely love.
Once we reached our destination i ordered our normal two cappuccinos. Just when we were talking randomly dua received a call. "I am so sorry Aly. But i gotta go. Bhai would be really mad at me if he finds out that i was hanging out at this hour. You also come with me if you like" she blabbered. "No biggie. You can leave i will have the coffee and take the bus." I replied.
After bidding goodbye she left. I was going through my phone. To be honest my phone is always in mute mode due to which me and Dua always end up fighting because i don't notice her calls, because i get irritated with calls and messages. Not Dua's but many other people. But i use it at times of need and even when i am bored. It was currently 6:00 pm
