Alastor sat on the end of his bed with a book in his hands, he was halfway through the page when he heard glass shatter in the room above his.

He thought it must've been his imagination playing tricks on him, Alastor looked down at his book once again an continued to read until a females voice sounded out loudly above him.

Alastor sighed and closed his book " Must be one of the new patrons Angel brought in..." Alastor muttered under his breath as he got into bed and dipped under the covers ready to nod off to sleep...

He couldn't though.

Alastor reluctantly got up and walked to the elevator (not sure if there is one but eh) and reached the level above his, he knocked on the door and waited till a young looking demon opened the door wearing a rather large sweater in the shade of F/C.

" Hello my dear! I do apologise for bothering you at such a late hour but, what is all the ruckus about hmm?" Alastor asked with his arms behind his back

The girl shook her head in dismissal " I think your ears are playing tricks on you" Y/N replied before tucking a H/C out of her face

"Thanks for caring, sir, that's nice of you- But I have to go back in" Y/N replied casting a look behind her as she gave Alastor a weary smile

" I wish I could tell you about the noise, but I didn't hear a thing" She replied with her eyes slightly glazed over in a daze

" Oh, then what may it have been?" Alastor asked with his smile faltering abit as he caught a glance at her tired looking eyes

" It must have been the wind" Y/N said with a small tired chuckle before closing the door and trapping Alastor on the other side of the door.

Alastor returned to his room, he sat down at his desk and tried to read some writing he had written down earlier but his mind just kept wondering to the H/C haired demon he had met earlier, he hadn't even learnt her name and yet he was already being drawn in.

Alastor heard ran a hand down his face as the thought of the girl clouded his mind entirely, he got up and walked to the elevator up to the upper floor and got to the girls door and knocked.

" Sorry about disturbing you once more my dear but, the noises I'm hearing are slightly annoying to the ear and I was wondering what it might be thats causing so much noise?" Alastor asked as he scratched at his arm from behind his back, fidgeting in place under the eye of the concerning girl infront of him.

" Sorry Sir but again, I think your ears are playing tricks on you" Y/N said as she tucked the sweater she wore down a tad more

"Thanks for caring, sir, that's nice of you." She said

" Oh! uh, its alright, maybe you would want to go-"
" -But I have to go back in." Y/N said cutting the deer demon off

" Wish I could tell you about the noise, but, I didn't hear a thing"
" Are you quite sure darling?" Alastor asked with a brow perked in worry and concern

"It must have been the wind again." Y/N said as she closed the door to her room hastily

Alastor sat once again in his room with an overwhelming sense of dread and concern for the mysterious girl. He was feeling things he hadn't felt in...forever.

Alastor tossed his bowtie aside and rolled up his sleeves before walking quickly over to the door to his room and opened it, to his surprise the girl from the upper level was walking down the hallway. Alastor opened up his door wider and motioned her over in a haste quickness he would mock himself for later.

" Darling, I may not know you and you mighten know me but I promise I'm not playing tricks on you, you're always welcome to come in- you could even stay here for an hour or two if you ever need a..." Alastor started to say as he stepped even closer to the demon who he barely knew.

" 'Friend'." Alastor finished with a dodgy looking smile causing Y/N to smile slightly

" Thats very kind of you but-"
" We can talk about the noise, when your ready, but 'til then I'll say, 'It must have been the wind'" Alastor cutted her off this time

Alastor watched as the girls eyes started to tear up and he embraced her tightly
