When I next woke up, I was in the same room. How much time had passed? I couldn't be sure; there was not a single window.
I tried to move but my entire body was clamped down. Literally with metal wires. Wiggling only dug them deeper into my soft skin and I felt it tear underneath. Even my head was restrained. Tepid blood pooled out onto the surface of my skin and it hurt.
A tear leaked out of the corner of my eye and the pent up rage, frustration and sadness began to boil.
Uncontrollably, I yelled and shrieked. A high-pitched, ear splitting noise emanated from my tiny chest. I really did sound like an animal.
They let me continue for a few minutes but when it became clear that I had no intentions to stop, the IV opened and I welcomed the cold.
