Chapter 2: That Maid, New Encounters

Raven's POV

Nothing happened at all the first night i was there in the manner which was ok but I got bored fast since Im hard to entertain but anyway i spent my night working (because I dont sleep just like dad because we are both demons) and in the morning i go to make tea (earl gray which is kuro tea) for my new bocchan. Dad said that was his job but i said i wanted to get better acuainted with the master and he said yes... but the secret is i didnt just want to get to know him better I wanted to be around him. Ceil's just so nice and sweet and cute i didnt wanna be away from him for to long .

so i went to make him tea in the kitchen and on my way i spot a boy who looked just a little older than I and Ceil (maybe abt 16 yo) i was curious so i said to him "hello" and he looks at me and immediately he turns red. Hes cute with yellow hair and deep

green ( but also a little of blue) eyes and he is nice and very tall...but he isnt my type so I find myself thinking of him less cute than Ceil. but i was still nice even thought i knew he has a crush on me already if the way hes look at me is an in dicater.

"Hi" he says back to me in a squeaky voice like that of a teen and I smile "Hi Im Raven nice to make ur acquintace im the new maid of this maner house whats your name? " "Finney" he squeaked "Im the gardener..well, Sebastan said im not a good gardener but Im the designaited gardner so yea" and I imediatly frown, feeling anger pool in my stomach "What did Sebastian say to u?" I ask. He may be my dad but i dont let him bully lowly humans thats just stupid it isnt even worthy

Finneys eyes widened to the size of plalates. "I dont...I mean, Im the gardner? Sebastqin said I wasn't the best one butt thats......"

"Not ok" I say in a mean voice "Sebastain's my dad and hes not allowed to say things like that to anyone. Im sure ur a good gardener dont let my stupid dad tell u other wise!!"

Finney looks at me like he wants to cry and i can tell from that look on his green and blue eyes that he has never herd such nice things before in his life because maybe he has a tragic past and he has never been treeted like a human being just like a lowly servent wich is not fair at al i mean he is a good boy how cab anyone be mean to him?!?!?

I will talk to m y dad abbt this later Finney dont u worry a bit" i tell to him, smiling a rare smile taht i almost never use - its not my witty smirk of always no, this is a genuin smile reserve for the friends i make - finney looks back at me and smiles to, and he is so adorable (but as a friendly way becaus i love ceil ).

Wait why am i still thinking this?!?! Hes my master hes my dads contract my dad will eat him one day and also demons dont feel emotion so i cant love anyone especially not after a day!! How can I think like this?/ My thoughts we're getting scary so i needed to leave finney to go work so i could finish that tea because i really still wanted to see ceil i couldn't wait to see his face kya!!

Ugh im a scary demon, i have to stop!

I go to make the tea and bring it to his bedroom and knock on the door. Dad said he just walks in but im a lady i can't do that, so I knock politly to wait for a reponse. "Hello hakushaku-sama it's me Raven I'm serving you breakfast today its earl gray, can I come in?"

"U-Uh yes come in " ceil says in a sleepsy voice from the other side of the huge door which is made of a wood that is very expensive by the looks of it. "Ok i will come in kno " i tell to him and open the door open.... I blush instantly because ceil is sitting at bed - huge bed and soft-looking like maybe a cloud - and he is woring only a see-thru nightie and no shoes.
