Chapter 16 ~ New Years Eve

~Crawford~

I just kept driving, I don't even know where. I knew she still had feelings for him. I shouldn't have taken that chance in asking her out.

I end up in my drive way. I get out and walk up to the door and walk in. Chris was on his phone.

"Hey long time no see!" He said with a smile. I wasn't smiling

"Hows you and Emma?" He asked raising an eyebrow.

"I don't wanna talk about that slut" I said plopping down on the bed

"Whoaaaaa what happened?" He asked sitting next to me

"It's a long story" I said getting on my phone

"I got time" he said. I didn't really want to tell him anything, but he's my brother, he should know

~The Day Before New Years Eve~

It's been weeks since I heard from Crawford. He hasn't called me back, or texted. Yet he still reads them. He's been on twitter, a lot. Tweeting stuff like

I thought you loved me

Or

What happened to forever

Or

I knew you still loved him, I never should have trusted you

The latest one is

Theirs no going back

So, that tells me, I lost him. I lost Crawford. My best friend, the guy that treated me right...

I'm sitting on the couch till the guys get back from getting stuff for tomorrow night. I'm alone with the girls, and Amber.

"You know, it doesn't surprise me that Crawford left you. He's too good for you" I heard Amber say

"I'm surprised you aren't pregnant yet" I said

"Well, why would he want to date a freak that has dated all the other guys? I stook to one" she said

"The only other guys were Aaron and Hayes. That's it, I wouldn't guve Shawn a chance" I said the last part quieter.

"If you had given him a chance, think about where you would be. But don't think too hard, you just might end up screwing it up like you do everything else. But what am I saying? You are the screw up" she said and walked to the kitchen.

I didn't know how to take it. Was she giving me advice? Or being a bitch.

I never thought about Shawn like that. He's a total sweetheart, but I always saw him as a friend. Plus him and Camille are PERFECT. So I'm not even gonna pay attetion to that.

And I already know I'm a screw up. I screw everything up. So that's not new

The door bursted open with Matt and Jj laughing

"MATT SHUT UP" Jj (Jack Johnson) yelled

"Whyyyyyy" Matt wined

"Because" Jj said

"Because why?" Matt asked again

"Because I said so" Katie said coming down the stairs

"I ain't arguing with you" Matt said shoving a cheez it in his mouth. Katie laughed getting one too. I turned around and saw Amber walk up to Hayes. She whispered something in his ear

"No, no" he said shaking his head. She turned to me, smirked, and turned back to Hayes. I shook my head and turned back to the group

"So, I was thinking. Why don't we go to the beach tomorrow night?" Amber said.

It was a good idea, but I don't know what she's up to.

"Okay, what do you guys say?" Cameron said like he's leader everyone said yes and it was set. We'd have a bon fire, some sparklers, and food. We'd swim a little since it doesn't get very cold here.

~New Years Eve 10:00~

"CAMILLE EMMA GET IN HERE NOWWWWWW" Teagan Yelled. Me and Camille ran to her room.

"WHAT" I yelled

"Which one" she said holding up two bikinis a pink and blue one

"Pink" we said at the same time.

"Okay now meh" Camille said running down the hall after Teagan changed and put on a white cover up.

She pulled out two swim suites. One was orange, the other was purple

"I don't know which one" she wined

"I kinda like the purple one" I said

"Me too" Tea Said. Camille put on the purple one with a lighter shade purple cover up.

"Okay Em, now you" Tea said

"I'm not going" I said.

"YES YOU ARE! YOU MAKE EVERYTHING FUN" Camille yelled

"I don't want to, it's just. I don't wanna be around- him" I said

"Oh" Tea said

"Well, just stay away from him" Camille said

"It's kinda hard to when he follows you and keeps trying to talk to you" I said.

"Then give him what he wants" Teagan said "Then he'll leave you alone"

It was silent

"I guess I better go get my swim suit" I said standing up

"YASSSSS" Teagan and Camille yelled. We ran to my room and picked one out. It's blue. Yeah, just blue with a white cover up.

~11:00~

We've been here for about 30 mins, and I've been sitting alone for about 20. Camilles hangin with Shawn, Teagans with Jacob, Katies with Matt, Rias with Taylor, Maggies with Carter, amd Mahogany went out of town. So I'm alone. Till Jack J sat next to me.

"Hey Em" he said

"Hey Jj" I said taking a sip from my water bottle

"Come walk with me" he said

"Okay" I said and followed him

"So, what's up?" I asked

"What's up with you and Hayes?" He asked

"There's nothing, at least thats how I wanna keep it" I said

"Why" he asked

"Because, he's messed up way too many times. It's, not okay" I said

"Emma, everybody makes mistakes. Everyone. I hate seeing you abd Hayes like this. Would you just please talk to him" he said stopping the walk.

"Jack, I'm tired of being hurt, specially by him. All I'm wanting, is a break. A long one" I said

"You just don't get it do you" he said shaking his head a bit.

"What do I not get" I said

"Hayes is in love with you"
