Chapter 19 ~ I Mean It This Time

We got home and just chilled. Everyone went in there own bedroom and me and Hayes just chilled in my room. God this is weird. Knowing he did, all this stuff with another girl. It bugs me, it does. But I gotta let it roll off my shoulders. But I can't. It's like it won't roll off until I get answers. I don't want them, but I feel like I need them.

"Why" I ask out of nowhere. He looks down at me

"Why what?" His voice is calm and tired

"Why did you-" I stopped myself. If I really don't wanna start anything. I better keep my mouth shut.

But it's me and we both know that I can't

"Em, you can ask me anything. I'm gonna be honest with you no matter what" he said

I gave him a stupid look to get him to look back at allllll his lies

"Okay, I am now" he laughed, but I didn't

"Okay, w-why did you, do. That stuff with Amber...." I said looking down embarrassed of my stupid question

He sighed

"I just, I don't know. It's- hard to explain" he said sitting up and rubbing his forehead

"I'm sorry I asked" I said looking down

"Don't be" he said laying back down wth me

"It's just, I kinda just used her" He said. I know exactly what for, it's kinda obvious

"So you don't have feelings for her?..." I asked

"No, I never have. I just needed to get over you some how. I knew you were gone, I just didn't know how to deal with it" He said

"How? I'm nothing special" I said looking down

"Emma, you don't get it. Your not special. Your way more than that. You may not think you are, but your definitely something. Your my world, my love, my everything. And I know, I screwed up so many times, but all I ask is this" he said looking more nervous than ever. He got off the bed and got to my side and got down on one knee.

"Oh my god" I thought to myself as I covered my mouth. This isn't happening

"Emma Ann Credille, will you do me the honor, of marrying me?" He asked with a ring in his hand
