Chapter 14 ~ Oh Jesus

~Emma~

NO NO NO NO NO NOT NOW NO HE CANT PROPOSE NOW

He opened the box and sure enough, there was a ring. I covered my mouth, in the corner of my eye I saw Hayes get up and walk into the other room.

"Crawf, I love you. I do, but I-I'm not ready for this" I said flipping out. He looked confused

"Em, what are you talking about?" He asked. I pointed to the box

"This! All of this!" I said pointing to him on one knee, the ring. He started to laugh

"Emma, it's a promise ring, not an engagement ring" he said with a smile. My heart sunk

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry Crawford" I said

"Baby it's okay, and I was just gonna tie my shoe after I handed you the box" he said handing me the box. It has my birth stone, diamond. It's small but I'm not complaining. I was about to slip it on until I saw the word 'Promise' written on it.

"Babe I love it" I said hugging him after he stood up.

"Does it fit okay?" He asked holding my hand and looking at it

"Perfectly" I smiled

"Hey guys! I finally convinced ny girlfriend to come over!" Hayes said walking back in the room putting his phone in his pocket.

"Who's your girlfriend now?" Johnson said looking up from his phone.

"It still Amber" he said glarring at him

Crawford wrapped his arm around my waist and kept me close.

"Scared?" Hayes said looking at Crawford

"Shut up" I said

"Oh your girlfriend had to stick up for you? How weak" Hayes said

"Your really asking for it" I said

"Shut the hell up for once!!!" Hayes yelled

"Make me!" I yell walking up to him.

"Why don't you go and do what you do best, and leave" he added. I stood there in shock

"Got nothing to say now?" He said

I shook my head and ran upstairs to my room and slammed the door

~Hayes~

What the hell did I just do. I ruined everything

"WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR PROBLEM" Crawford yelled. I stayed quiet

"YOUR AN ASSHOLE" Teagan yelled running up the stairs with Camille and Shawn behind her.

Crawford shook his head and turned back to face me and punched me. I fell back and skooted back to the wall. He started to walk towards me but Nash and Gilinksy held him back.

"You need to calm down" Gilinksy said. I held my hand to my eye and he just starred at me.

~Emma~

I heard knocking at my door. I heard it open but I didn't bother to look up.

"Emma?" I heard Shawn say. My head shot up to see him with Tea and Camillle.

"Hey" I said quietly

"Don't listen to him Emma" Teagan said, I shook my head

"It's okay, I'm-" the door opened

"Baby, I'm so sorry" Crawford said standing in the doorway. I slightly smiled and shrugged my shoulders looking down.

"It's not your fault" I said he walked over to me

"No, it is my fault. I should've spoken up instead of just standing there" he said

"Crawford, he didn't hurt me. His words may have, but he didn't" I said looking at him. He looked so disappointed in himself. He smiled a little but it went away quick.

"I love you" he said

"I love you too" I smiled, he leaned in and locked our lips

"Were still here ya know" Camille said.

We pulled away and I looked at them

"That was your Q to leave" I said giggling. They left and I hugged Crawford.

"Is he still here?" I asked. He nodded, I sighed and we walked back down stairs. Hayes was at the end of them,

"Emma I'm s-" before he could finish I walked away from him. People ooed and I just ignored it. What Hayes said hurt. I'm done forgiving him. I don't get why he would be rude to me, when he's the one that caused all of this. It makes no sense to me. He says he loves me, but goes and sleeps with another girl? It's ridiculous. Then my phone vibrates

Hayes💔🔫 - Emma I'm sorry, I didn't know what I was thinking. I hate being rude to you, I really do. And I heard about the baby...

I just read it, I'm not gonna reply. He kept starring at me, he was waiting. But I'm not falling in his traps anymore. I'm done with these childish games he's playing.

The door knocked and Hayes stood up. I looked over to see the red head from hell. Amber.

"Hey daddy" she said.

"Hey baby" he replied kissing her. I rolled my eyes in disgust.

"Get a room" Nash coughed causing us to laugh. Amber flipped him off.

"Hayes can you get the fish out of here and throw her back in the water? She's starting to rot even more and it's making the house smell" I said not thinking, everyone laughed. She just rolled her eyes and I stayed silent.

~Night~

The rest of the day was normal. Hayes and Amber sucking face. Us making remarks to her and giving them dirty looks. And me and Crawford cuddling in my room.

"Em" Crawford said. I looked up to him

"Why is Hayes texting you" he asked looking over at my phone. Hayes hasn't stopped trying to get me to talk to him. It's really annoying

"He keeps trying to apologize, and I'm ignoring him" I said laying my head back on his chest. It was silent for a while, till he broke it again.

"Emma, I don't wanna loose you" he said, I looked up at him

"What do you mean?" I asked sitting up

"I just, don't want Hayes stealing you away from me. I love you, and I don't want you to get hurt anymore, I don't want him taking you away, and breaking you again" he said. I sat on him and looked down at him.

"Crawford, I love you too. I'm yours, only yours. Hayes is out of the picture. He's hurt me too many times and I've given him too many chances to fix himself. But, that's the way he is. I'm not leaving you. I promise" I said, he smiled and I kissed him. Well, you don't need to know the details ;)
