Chapter 23 ~ Happy

~Emma~

Do I even need to tell you about my morning? It's the same thing everyday. But I got into a KU sweat shirt, caprise, and some black and white vans and put my hair up into a pony tail. I was sitting beside a sleeping Hayes on my phone until I felt a sharp pain on my left leg

"Ow! Echo you boob" I said. She just sat there looking happy as ever with her tail wagging and her tounge hanging out of her mouth

"Do you need to go potty?" I said in a funny voice. The only voice that this dog seems understand

She stood up and ran to the front door. You could hear her paws and claws going along the tile floor as I followed her to the door. I grabbed her pink leash and connected it to her collar.

As soon as I opened the door the bolted. She basically dragged me where ever she wanted or needed to go.

I waited until she was ready to go back inside until I felt something wet fall on my nose

I look up just as another one hits my cheek. All I see is gray, no sun, no white fluffy clouds, no blue sky. But gray clouds

Echo barks at me taking me out of my thoughts. We start to run home even though I didn't want to. I love the rain. Absolutely love it. People are always saying that it's depressing amd app that jazz. But to me its relaxing, and fun

Going out and dancing in the rain, swimming in the rain (I've done that), hamg with your friends in the rain, or even just sit their

~Hayes~

I woke up and stretched. I look over to my left, and Emma isn't there. I sit up and look around.

I get out of bed and walk down stairs to see Jack J and Jack G eating

"Hey have you seen Emma?" I asked getting a bottle of water out of the fridge, they both shake their heads

"No but the leash is gone, maybe she took Echo on a walk or something" Jack J says

I look outside, and it's pouring rain

"It's raining, I'm sure she-"

~Emma~

I walk in the house soaking wet. I take off Echos leash and hang it back up on the wall

"Told ya she was walking Echo" Jack J says taking a bite out of his waffle

"What's going on?" I ask looking at Hayes and smiling

"Morning beautiful" he said walking up to me and smiling

"Morning sleeping beauty" I said he smiled and shook his head

"Aye Em" Gilinksy said from the table

"Sup Gilinksy, Johnson" I said to the two

"What should we do today?" Hayes asked, I smiled

"I have an idea" I said

I grabbed his hand and ran upstairs and ran to the bedroom and shut the door behind us

I look at him and smiled

"What?" He asked

"We could tell everyone now" I said

"Tell them what?" He asked

"That were engaged!" I said

"Ohhhh" he said

"God your stupid" I said laughing, he rolled his eyes.

We got everyone to come down stairs and they all sat around waiting for us to tell them

"What's going on? Are you pregnant again!!?!?" Cameron asked. I shook my head no

"No, I am not pregnant. But," I said grabbing Hayes' hand

"We are engaged!" I said looking at everyone with a smile on my face, nobody was smiling

"Em can I talk to you for a minuet?" Katie asked

"Sure I guess" I said. She yanked my wrist and basically dragged me to the kitchen.

"Whaaaaat" I wined

"Em, I get that your happy and all....but....Hayes isn't any good Em" she said

"Katie, this is my life. Not yours. If I get hurt, so be it. But I'm trusting Hayes now. I know he won't wanna hurt me, not anymore than he already has. Now please, I'd like to be with my fiance right now, okay?" I say then walk back to Hayes
