Chapter 4 : Blonde Hair and Chocolate Eyes

"Hey Luce, let's go on the cafeteria together" Natsu groaned, rubbing his temples as he looked back on his blonde haired best friend who was tucking her notebooks in her bag.

They just finished their algebra class and all those numbers combined with letters made him dizzy.

"There you go again, hogging Lucy onto yourself you pyro"

"Huh?! What's wrong with you Gray?"

Gray Fullbuster, Fairy Tail academy's 'hottest male' tied with Natsu on the top. In terms of academics, he ranked third into their year and was their volleyball club's setter.

"Nothing, idiot" with that, he went towards Lucy with his lunchbox in hand.

"I also disagreed with it but if anything happens you can count on me" with that, he left.

Clueless, Natsu accompanied the blonde in the noisy lunchroom. They bought breads and drinks since they both doesn't have a bento prepared with them.

"What does ice popsicle mean by that?" Natsu asked as they took the stairs towards the rooftop.

The blonde stopped her tracks. "I'm...going on Sabertooth Academy..."

"Are you kidding me?" Natsu crossed his arms over his chest, immediately disapproving on the news the blonde announced on him.

Lucy handed him a double spicy curry bread while she had a strawberry and whipped cream stuffed sandwhich on her own.

"Well, it's not for me to decide" they sat on their usual spot in the rooftop, backs pasted in the wall as they hid under the shade away from the bright sun. "Besides, who doesn't want to go on Crocus?"

Apparently, the principal of Fairy Tail Academy, Makarov Dreyar have agreed on a exchange student program with the Sabertooth Academy in Crocus.

The original plan was to send their President, Erza Scarlet but she was preoccupied in her upcoming Kendo Tournament where she held the title for being Titania. She was unbeatable.

So being the vice president and nothing really much to do in the literature club, Lucy was scheduled to stay in the Academy for a year. Well, she was about to graduate after a year anyway.

"Then, I'm coming with you" the pinkette told her, taking a bite in his favourite bread. The blonde took off the wrapping of her sandwich.

"You can't. Weren't the volleyball club practicing for the upcoming competition too?" Lucy told him, indulging herself in the sweet bread.

"Peace of cake" he stated, opening his bottle of gatorade and gulping half of the content. "It's dangerous you know. Those arrogant shits"

"Hey watch your language!" she scolded him as he laid his head in her lap and ignored her remark. "Plus, I can handle myself well. There won't be any problem. The school will provide me my own dorm room and additional living expenses. Isn't that great?"

Natsu frowned. Ever since they were little, Lucy have always dreamed going on Crocus. He have went there a couple of times before so he wasn't really enthusiastic about it.

Giggling at his bummer face, she pinched his right cheek. "Now now, I'll be visiting every weekends so don't give me that look"

Letting out a sigh, he gave her a serious look. "If someone decided to hit on you be sure to tell me alright?"
