Shayam POV

"Sir, the we'll have to leave now" My PA reminded me and I nodded. Taking my coat from the hanger we went downstairs and let my drive drive us to the spot. I'm going to officially sign the deal for the construction of school for poor kids. My parents were so proud of me.

I was happy that I got it. And now I'm more happy to see Shanaya. She'll also be coming there to finalise her deal for designing the uniforms.

The last encounter with her is something my mind kept replaying all the time. She made all the heads turn towards her the moment she walked inr the room. Her dress makeup everything made her look so elegant and attractive. Every women envyed her and every man longed for her look. And I'm no exception.

The fact that she's with Armaan made my blood boil. I need to knock some senses into her but I didn't get any chance. Finally following her to the ladies room, I caught her in my hands and my heart raced crazy. I have been with so many women, not dated but flirted and just for fun. No one gave me this feeling of thrill and it's just crazy.

I was pulled like a magnet and can't get my hands off her. I was so drove to kiss her but she backed off and I'm glad she did. Otherwise I cannot hold in my beast.

Arriving at the place, we walked in and waited for our turn to sign the contract. Suddenly the door opened and I saw Armaan with Jessica Fernandez. As soon as they saw me they greeted me and congratulated me on the contract. I know it was all fake. He was so adamant in getting the deal but too bad I bagged it. Serves you right.

After they left my PA walked to me.

"Sir they're calling you in"

I walked inside and signed the contract. Making a copy of it, I took one for myself and submitted the other one with my signature on it.

"Sir if you don't mind may I ask you something?"  I nodded and my PA continued.

"Last time I know neither Fernandez nor Sheikh industries got any deal. I wonder why are they here" I know what he's coming too.

"I understand. He might have had some dirty talk under the table with the officers. Ask my PI to dig in" I ordered and he went away to make the call right away.

Just then Shanaya entered and my heart went on to reply what happened. She walked past me without any smile. I decided to wait for her.

She got out after 20 minutes and started to walk outside.

"We need to talk" I said and she stopped.

"Not here, come with me" she made me follow her to the top of the building. There was no one but only us. She faces the view and it was beautiful. I stood behind her as the wind blew her hair away making her face shine in the sunlight.

"Whatever happened that day.." she cut me off.

"I'm not here to talk about that. I am here to warn you about Armaan" she said turning around to face me.

"He was very upset about not getting the deal. I suppose he's making dirty moves to get the deal back from you. So better watch your back" she said.

"Why are you telling me this? Aren't you his girlfriend?" I asked.

"I'm not his girlfriend. And I'm telling this as a friend. It's upto you to take it or drop it. But if I were you, I'd definitely take it and be careful" she said and turned around.

"Let's go" she started walking towards the lift and I held her hand.

"If I were you, I'd already back off from him after knowing the affair he has with Jessica" I said and she looked shocked.

I guess I was right. She already knew this.

"That doesn't matter"

"Doesn't matter? The man you supposedly like being with has an affair with another girl and it doesn't matter to you?"

"That is not..." I cut her this time.

"I bet he told you it's nothing but a buisness about the land in the centre of the city. Since they had an issue over it, they decided to share it amongst them" I knew I was right. She was speechless.

"Should I say more?"

She was standing looking like a statue. I knew this because I did an investigation the weekend Armaan left Shanaya behind to see the Fernandez. I wanted to know the link and here I have it.

"Like you consider me a good friend, I do the same for you. He's not a good person like you think, obviously now the truth is out. Step away from whatever you're planning to do" I warned her.

"Thanks for your advice as a friend but I know what I should do" she scoffed and started walking out.

"You just don't listen to people right?" I asked in disbelief.

She turned around.

"No, never. And specially not what my friends say" she said friends in distinct and that hit me.

"What made you say that I'm your friend?" I questioned her as I moved towards her. Her body hit the wall behind and she was trapped in the middle.

"Just like you called me"

"Did I? My bad. I don't want us to be friends"  I said leaning more.

"There's no place for anything other than friends"

"I'll find a way to be more than just a friend then" I leaned in an captured her lips.
