Epilogue

Shayam POV

"I'm so proud of you son" I patted my elder son who won the basket ball game.

Just then I was called to the principal office and I looked at my son Skylar.

"Not me dad. It must be them, you may go dad. I'll have to get to my class" 

I nodded and went to the office. I waited for about ten minutes and finally they called me inside. I knocked on the door and the principal asked me to come in.

"Please have an seat Mr. Shayam Mathur" I sat down facing the principal.

"Your children have been causing problem to all the students in the class"

"What did he do?"

"Not your son Skylar, you're twins Kiara and Kevin" I sighed. Suddenly the twins entered the room and I glared at them. They held their heads down.

"They put glue in one of their classmates head. They hid their teacher's purse in the dustbin and even got into a fight today morning in the ground" he kept listing and I took a deep breath to calm my anger down. My blood was boiling and I controlled myself from smacking them right here. I swear they haven't got any senses in them. Who's children are they even? Gosh!

"This is the last warning I'm giving them. If they create any more problem, I'll have no choice but to remove them from the school. I'm sorry Mr. Shayam" she apologized and I nodded.

"I'll take care of it. They'll not repeat anything as such" I said honestly and she smiled.

"Stop giving those eyes to my dad, I'll pull your hair" my daughter Kiara said and I can't believe it! My eyes widened as she looked at her principal with burning eyes. She was shocked too and composed soon.

"Kiara, where are you manners girl?" I scolded her.

"She was battling her eye lashes at you and even winked at you" she pointed at her principal and I swear this is crazy. Though I know but daughter is right, obviously I can't say anything now.

"I'll take them out" I said and pulled them out.

"It was nice meeting you Mr. Shayam" she said and we walked out. They silently walked to my car ready to get their ears filled with my scoldings.

"What's wrong with you guys?" I yelled at them and they kept holding their heads down.

"Speak up"

"Dad, we have reasons for everything" Kevin said.

"And that is?"

"That girl from our class, she was insulting our friend because she was having dyslexia. The teachers didn't do anything about that so we did what has to be done" Kiara said.

"The teacher literally pushed me out of the class for something my friend did. I tried to explain to her but she wouldn't listen daddy" Kiara said, raising her hands up in the air, trying to prove her innocence. I sighed.

"And in the ground, a group of seniors hit the basket ball on her head" Kevin said pointing at Kiara's head and she nodded holding her head. I quickly rubbed her head and I saw them winking at each other. I hit her head lightly and grabbed Kevin's ear.

"Ouch daddy, it hurts"

"Then tell me the truth"

"Ok fine, it was us who started the fight. We wanted the basketball and they wouldn't give it to us" Kevin said trying to release my hand from his ear. I left them and took a deep breath.

"You two are grounded. No playing, no watching iPad or tv. No phones after 7 at night and you'll be walking Bella everyday morning before school and you, after school" I pointed at Kevin and the at Kiara.

"Dad, that's not fair" Kevin and Kiara pouted. And I'm not falling for that.

"You prove me you have changed and I'll reduce everything one by one" I said and patted them. They nodded and hugged me before going to their class. I swear there's not a day when they don't pull any prank on others.

I sat on my car and drove straight to my office. Quickly finishing my work, I cleaned my desk and drove back to home.

"Honey, I'm home" I entered our bedroom and saw Shanaya just coming out of the shower. I hugged her and damn, she smelled so fresh. I kissed her neck and she giggled. I can't believe she still excits me even after these many years of marriage.

"How was the game?" She walked to her vanity and started drying her hair.

"I'm so proud of Skylar but those two minions, I grounded them" I took off my coat and loosened my tie. I sat on the bed and rubbed my forehead because they both are giving me headaches with their naughtiness.

Shanaya came to me and removed my tie. She started massaging my head and I told her everything happened at school.

"Relax honey, they're just kids" she said.

"I know babe, they know what's right and wrong but sometimes doing things themselves gets them in trouble. They need to use their brains at right time, not by immediate action and without planning" I said and she started to laugh. I gave her a 'why are you laughing look'.

"So you're not mad because they acted like that, you're just mad because they acted at the wrong time?" I chuckled too.

"I'll talk to them too" she said and I nodded.

"I'm hungry babe" I said holding my tummy and she looked at me in disbelief.

"Get washed up, the dinner will be ready by then"

I quickly took a shower and dried myself after changing into something comfortable. I headed down and saw the children waiting for me. I sat down and saw Aaron teasing them.

"Stop it Skylar, don't make me punch you" Kiara showed her fist and he chuckled.

"You're fists are so tiny. You wouldn't be able to scare a fly showing that" Skylar said and that made Kiara punch him.

"Kids no fighting" Kiara showed his tongue to Skylar and he just waved it off.

"Dad, can I at least have my phone at night please? I have to play games with my friends" Kevin started to beg. Kiara too looked at me with her puppy eyes.

"Only if you get A grade in maths this exam" I said and his eyes widened. He's weak in maths.

"Take that looser" Kiara teased him.

"You princess, no shopping for two weeks if you want your phone back" she looked at me in horror and now it's time for the boys to tease her.

"Dad, that's not fair" she looked at me with puppy eyes and I shook my head.

"Mom please?" Shanaya looked at me and of course, my daughter has her mom and I wrapped around her little fingers. But she needs some limitations to understand the value of things in life when she has it, not when she loses it.

"I'm sorry babe, she has to learn" Kiara groaned.

So this is my life! A messy but funny and happy one!
