Tsukiko POV
I was hungry and after what had happened yesterday, I refused to borrow food... For now.
In addition, I didn't have any money because I gave it ALL to the people. I'm so smart.
Not really.
I sighed and walked along a stony path, my stomach begging for food now and then.
I guess I could. borrow one or two things... Just tiny, small things from richie people. I've heard of a village around here somewhere too, so when I found a dirt path, I followed it, keeping to the shadows that I hoped, led to the so called village: Konoha.
Trees loomed up from both sides and there were alot of hiding spots which I stored in mind for later use.
At the edge of the clearing, there was a gate which stationed two gaurds and beyond it, I could see that this was a quite a decent village which I guessed was the leaf village. My brain began to click rapidly in a second.
Village=people. People=food. Food=full tummy. Full tummy=no more angry stomach that's been growling at me for the past five hours.
I nodded my head and made up my mind. Quickly, I took my small pocket knife and made slashes across my shirts and shorts. They were my favourite. Well, more like, they were my only clothing I had right now.. After making the slashes, I spread little bits of mud across my cheeks and hair which was certainly going to be hard to get out later on. I also ruffled up my hair and put in some twigs.
Disguise is finished. I now look like a poor straggling, innocent girl that just wants a teeny little rest in a village... Oh! And food. The people won't know what hit them. I mean, I was small as a bandit, but unlike the other bandits, I had smarts, and skills for acting. I could even go into an acting career! Or so I thought...
I almost forgot! I took off my only shoe pair and hid them in a tall tree while rubbing my feet against the dirt ground. FINISHED!
I went up to the gaurds while covering my face with my brunette hair. "Excuse me, p-please. I'm all alone..." Okay. That was pathetic, but between my hair, I could see that I caught their pity.
"Lift up your face little girl." They ordered and mustering up my most innocent, and scared look, I obeyed. When they saw my face, instead of the 'aww, look at her! She's so cute!' reaction, I got the 'My gawd. Stay away from her. She's obviously dangerous.' reaction. Didn't meet well with my ego and trust me, I had a huggee one.
I put up my acting a notch and started sniffling, "I know my f-face is... Ugly, but please! I mean no harm! P-please, please, I'm just so h-hungry..." The growling stomach added onto my act as I sat down and started bawling with wet eyes, but no tears.
The two gaurds looked at each other uneasily before saying, "We know who you are Kiko Hotaru." Instantly I became infuriated. No, not because of them knowing who I was, lots of people knew because of the huge red 'X' of disgrace on my forehead. I was angry because they weren't pitying me!
"So you're saying my acting isn't all that great eh?" I menacingly glared at the two gaurds who cowered away from my lingering aura of anger. I was about to go in, but I was stopped when a white haired ninja jumped out from a tree.
"Let her in guys, I'll handle her." The dude with the mask said as he looked me up and down with amused eyes... Or should I say, eye.
"Yes, Kakashi!" The two gaurds kept their eyes on the ground as I was dragged away making hissing cat noise at the two.
"You're not a cat." The white hair dude mused as I glared at the two freaked out gaurds.
"No, but if I was, I'd scratch the gaurds' faces off." I started making retarded hissing sounds again and didn't stop until the gate was out of my eyesight.
