After lunch Charlie showed him the gym and football field, which were both separated from the main building like the cafeteria. They made their way back into the main building after the tour.

Charlie made sure to remind him of where each of bathrooms are and which hallways are which. Travis was happy that Charlie and his friends were all so nice to him, hopefully they would stay friends.

"Oh! Let me get your number!" Charlie had grabbed his phone from his back pocket, opening it for Travis to put in his number and send himself a text. Once Travis had saved his contact he decided to rightly name him 'slime boy' as a reference to a story that Charlie had told him during their tour.

In Charlie's sophomore year he had caused a science experiment to bubble and overflow with a slimy substance. Travis giggled at the reminder of the silly story, letting Charlie read his nickname which cause him to laugh out loud.

"Later I'm gonna text you my steam name so we could play some games together!" This resulted a nod from Travis right before the school bell had let out its last loud screech for the rest of the day. This made Travis cover his ears since the decided to stand right by it for some reason.

Charlie grabbed onto Travis' arm and tugged him along and into the English hallway which their lockers resided in. Charlie lead Travis to his locker before saying goodbye and leaving to go to his own.

A smile lingered on Travis face as he tried opening his locker. It took a few tries before Travis had to give up and get help, but he didn't know anyone around him except...

Schlatt.

A loud gulp being swallowed from him as he walked over and tapped the larger boy's shoulder.

"S..Schlatt was it?" Schlatt turned around with his eyebrow raised, a smirk spreading across his lips. "Ah Travis! What brings you over to my locker?" "Oh well...I can't get my locker to open and I don't know anyone else except you.." Travis rubbed his arm as he avoided eye contact with the scary boy. "Ah I see, I'll help you once I'm ready."

Travis looked up and smiled up at Schlatt, glad that he is willing to help him out. Travis walks back to his locker to wait for Schlatt to help him. Once Schlatt has his jacket and backpack on he goes over to Travis to help him with his locker.

It doesn't take long for Schlatt to figure it out and explain it to Travis once he tells him his code. "There! Easy-peasy." Schlatt pats Travis on the back after opening his locker effortlessly.

Travis looks up at Schlatt in amazement as he thanks him. "It's no problem T-money, don't hesitate to reach out if you ever need help." "Okay! Thank you again! Uh...S-money!"

Schlatt lets out a laugh as he pats his head, soon saying goodbye to Travis and leaving him to go home. Travis giggles as he continues to grab all of his stuff and shutting his locker before preceding to leave the school building.

As he steps outside he can see the busses start to leave as he walks out the front of the school. He takes in a deep breath of fresh air as he remembers all that happened today.

He brings out his earbuds from his hoodie pocket, popping them in his ears as he starting listening to one of his favorite artists. He walks along to the beat of the song, his thoughts soon getting disrupted by loud laughing from his right side.

The laughing is coming from inside the skatepark that he stands next to. He hadn't realized the skatepark that was pretty close to the school, he must've ignored it this morning when he was walking to school.

The a new song fades in as he looks over to the skatepark. Buttercup plays as his eyes land on a boy sitting on the skateparks concrete, laughing to his friend as he holds onto his arm. The boy sitting on the ground seemed happy as his shaggy blonde hair laid on top of his head, some of it getting into his face. Freckles sprinkled across his tanned skin as the sun shinned onto him perfectly.

But his most prominent feature was his ocean blue eyes as they stared into his chocolate brown ones. He felt like he could see the waves of emotions in his irises like the tides in the ocean waves.

He was snapped out of his gaze when the boy had looked away to pay attention to his friend's calls. This was his time to leave.

...

Travis didn't know why he was sprinting down the sidewalk towards his home, but he knew he couldn't stop himself. His mind was racing with the thoughts of the boy, from his his hair to his tanned skin to his beautiful blue eyes. His mind was clouded with thoughts of..

Him.

Travis didn't realize he was in front of his home until he stopped running, the song Buttercup slowly fading into the next song that wasn't as exciting. Once he got inside he didn't stop to greet his mother, he just went straight into his bedroom.

He dropped all of his belongings in the corner as he slipped his shoes off and fell on top of his bed. His body relaxed as his breathing became stable as his mind calmed down to one thought.

Why were his eyes so beautiful?
