"Tessa?" I hear Alb calling.
I jump from the ground, waking up quickly and leaning to him. It's been too days Alb since the, um ,accident. i've been feeding him with fruits and water I found in a pond not very far from our little camp, but he hasn't been conscious until now.
"Hey!" I try saying softly but my voice sounds rough for not speaking for so long.
He blinks a couple of times before focusing his eyes on me again.
"What hap- ouch!" He stopped on the Middle of his phrase because of the sudden movement he tried to make with his arm.
"Dawn vampires" he said a couple of minutes later, his eyes still closed.
"How..." I stop my self before a overload him with questions, he's not well enough to that yet. "What do you know about...vampires?" I let the words out, slowly.
"What I know is what everyone knows, love" he looks at me "the only difference is that I know they are true" I see a ghost of a smile on his face. "But tell me" he continued "how did you get here? Looks like you're completely lost."
"Why did you help me?" My voice returned to the objective kind of cold tone it used to be.
"Well it's not everyday that I run across a snowie is it?"
"Snowie?" I ask
"Isn't that what you are?" He ask, now with confusion in his eyes, and looks me up and down. "You definitely look like one." He mumbles.
I sigh, trying to calm down.
"Uuh is the snowie stressed? Doesn't happen very often, does it? Your kind is cold to death." He chuckles "get it?" He looked amused at my exasperated expression.
I sigh again and finally say "Look, I don't know what the hell you are talking about, but I've been taking care of you and your dawn arm for the past two days and I am seriously confused about everything right now so if you could please just answer my questions it would be great."
"Two days?" He suddenly tried to sit but failed, with a painful expression "have I been asleep for 2 days?" He asks dramatically.
"Well, yes. So I would appreciate if you could tell what did you mean by 'snowie'."
"This is not good. What... What is all this?" He said looking at the failed medicinal plants attempt still on his arm.
"Medicinal plants."
"No. No! This is never gonna work! Don't you know anything?"
"I was just trying to make it better." The words came out like knives. "What would you suggest?"
"We need a sorcerer" he whispered weakly.
