Negative point: wolves run fast

Positive point: we run faster.

I discovered that when my life is threatened I could run hella fast. I was so scared, it was irrational, they were just animals. Although my restrict mind let me know they never hunt alone...

There were so many thought on my head. I don't know for how long we had been running, but I was quite surprised at myself. Although I was obviously tired, my body seemed to be taking this little walk quite well, which means I used to run a lot in the past too, probably.

"Hey" I called for Alb and pointed to the trees. He understood and when we passed the next tree with a low stick he could climb, he so did, and grabbed me on my way, both of us now trying desperately to climb as high as possible away from the wolves.

When we finally reached a considerable good point I looked down looking for any signal of where were them.

What I happened next was... just unbelievable.

When the animals saw us on the top of the tree they all gathered around it. There should be like six or seven of them. Suddenly, the one who looked like the leader of them all stood on his back paws. All his fur slowly falling on the ground as he became human. I watched him look at us and then laugh at us. I was too shocked to check Alb's expression but I'm assuming it's just as shocked as mine.

"Did you really think that getting up on that tree would stop werewolves from killing you?" the guy said, emphasizing the word werewolf. Even after all his "fur loss", he was still a hairy man, with a thick beard, old ripped clothes, and yellow teeth. He appeared to be about 40 years old, and the other ones were just waiting his command to attack.

Quicker than the other transformation, he turned back into wolf, roughing at us. Before we could do anything, there was a high scream and a moving figure came running incredibly fast from somewhere and attacked the wolf. Werewolf. Whatever.

I could see that the figure who just came in wasn't a normal human. Her skin was really pale and she moved graciously but so fast I almost couldn't see it. She fought three of the were wolves alone for almost 2 minutes, and was doing pretty good. Another like her came, this time, a male. The guy was, too, extremely pale and he had long black hair falling down his back.

When the girl (who didn't appear to be more than 15) killed one of the wolves with a bite in the neck, the animals screams were even louder than the ones she did before attacking them.

I doubt the girl left any blood in there, the wolf was now... empty. After seeing that the leader of the wolves howled and all of them left, except of course, for the dead one.

The girl looked up at us and said to her partner.

"You want them? You haven't eaten anything in days" she said gently.

He didn't bothered in answering to her, just turned back and was living when she said.

"Well, if you won't, I will" after that, she jumped inexplicably to where we were on the tree and grabbed Alb, biting his wrists.

I felt like all my blood had frozen. I couldn't move a muscle, I was just paralysed unable to do anything to help Alb or even to help myself.

"Amanda, you didn't need his blood! You just ate an entire werewolf." I heard the male's voice from down there. She paused her midnight snack to look at him for a second, her mouth covered with blood.

"Yeah but human blood is better, you should really try it sometime" she said with an scary smile, ripping more of my new friend's skin as he screamed out loud, trying to get away.

"ARGH" the vampire fell from the tree. She was hit with a rock on her head and crushed painfully on the floor.

"Leave him alone. You don't need it." The partner was holding a big rock in one hand, like the one who just hit the girl. Although the male vampire seemed to have about 15 -the same age as her- he said that phrase as a teacher speaking to his student, and the girl didn't attack him, which for me looked like she had loads of respect (or fear) for him, otherwise he would already be dead by the look on her face.

"But, Cyrus!" she said exasperated "now that I have started, if I don't finish we will-"

"That's not our problem, Amanda." He cut her off, with a serious expression "and we have to get back to the others anyway, the sun is almost rising."

Without saying anything else, they left just as fast as they came.

omg i have so many ideas to add to this story! im really excited and i hope you will enjoy reading it just as much as i am enjoying to write it :)
