I stared at the girl in my arms. She looked so vulnerable and weak that I wanted to protect her from any harm. I accidentally heard what happened earlier. I was already done with my phone call when I heard shouting in her room. I wanted to come to her rescue but I held myself. I didn't come in right away as I feel like I was intruding. But when the guy walked out and I saw her on the floor I rushed to her side.
I brushed the hair that hid her angelic face and I was blinded by the look on her face. How can she still look beautiful even when she's crying? She looked like a little rabbit. My rabbit. I smiled at the thought. She looked lost and snuggled closer in my arms and that melted my heart.
"You trust me that much Rabbit? Don't worry I will protect you from this world that harmed you." I said softly in her ears.
She stirred in my arms and I adjusted myself so she can sleep comfortably. She must be exhausted and drained. I slowly placed her on the hospital bed. I can smell her shampoo and damn it smells so good. I want to sniff it to my hearts ' content. I wonder what shampoo she uses. I think I need to switched brands. Something below hardened and I scolded myself. Get a grip man. This is bad! Get rid of your dirty thoughts!
"Hahahaha! A hard on in a hospital? Sky you amazed me!" I pursed my lips and focus my energy on subsiding the beast that woke up.
After I made sure that she was fast asleep I slowly detached myself and stared at her. Her beauty looks so ethereal. She looked like an angel. A seraph. She looked so serene that I'm afraid if I go closer I might taint her pureness. It was both enchanting and intriguing. She was like the calm before the storm.
After a little while longer, I made a call. I instructed my secretary to pay the hospital bills and settle something for me.
After making sure that everything is taken care of I step forward and draw my face close to hers.
"As much as I want to be here when you wake up, I'm afraid I have an urgent business to take care of. Don't worry my Rabbit everything is settled. I will make sure those who tried to hurt you will pay, you just sleep tight alright. I'll come find you when you're ready."
He whispered in her ears and landed a soft kiss on her forehead before turning his back and walking out closing the door behind him.
