Chapter 18

Y/n pov:
Me and mar decide to skip the whole second period and just talk about us. I was very comfortable with mar but a small part of me wished the person with me was Mattia.

*skip to 4th period*

I walk into 4th and mattia comes up to me.

"Where were you during second?" He asks sternly

"I was with mar relax" I say a little annoyed

"Oh of course which restroom did you guys use" he said

I slapped him and he acts surprised.

"Look mattia you crossed the line twice in the past 24 hours, you need to chill" I say mad

"What was that for?" He asks holding me

"For being a dick, oh and also you better get used to mar being around because he's my boyfriend now" I say sitting at my seat.

I was furious how could he ver say that 'what restroom did we use' ugh he's such a jerk.

Class finally starts and mattia keeps texting me I ignore each one of his texts.

After class I walk out and mar is waiting for me at my locker.

"Hi mar" I smile kissing him on the cheek

"Hi beautiful so what's the plan for lunch?" He asks

"Uh I usually go and hang out with my friends do you wanna go do that or we can hang alone" I say

"I'd love to formally meet your friends" he says as he puts his arm around me and we start walking to the cafeteria

We walk up to my group and they all look at mar weirdly.

"Hey guys" I say sitting down as mar sits next to me.

"Guys I wanted to tell you all in person since it's better" I start

"Say what?" Edith asks me

"Mariano is my boyfriend" I say smiling at him.

Everyone congratulated us and he starts bonding a bit with the boys. Mattia was still no where to be found.

Edith nudges my arm.

"Have you seen mattia?" She asks

"He was in fourth but he's being a jerk so I left without him" I say to her

"Speaking of the devil" Edith says looking up

I look up and I see mattia with hickeys all over his neck. Ugh what a dick.

"Dang mattia looks like you had a good time" ale says hyping him up.

"Yes I did" he said dabbing all the boys up except Mariano.

"Oh my bad man I didn't see you" he says sarcastically

"It's cool" mar says playing it off

I frown at him and he rolls his eyes.

"So what did I miss?" Mattia asked

"Well y/n and mar are finally dating" megan says

"Oh yea I heard" he says in a stern voice

"Well anyway me and mar are gonna go I have to go to the library before class starts" I say getting up and mar does as well.

We start walking away and I have a mad expression on my face and mar noticed.

"Hey are you ok?" He asks hugging me

"It's just mattia is starting to get in my nerves" I say rolling my eyes

"Why is that?" He asks curiously

"Because he's being rude and he's been crossing the line with his stupid comments" I say sternly

"Look I don't know mattia like you do but I mean would you ever stop to consider that maybe he has a crush on you?" He says

"I thought of that but I asked him and he said no" I say looking at mar.

"Look ever since the night at the party with jenna, I saw mattia's face and he was hurt" he starts

"He was I had to take him home and he was a disaster" I say

"Look I don't want to sound like the crazy jealous boyfriend, because I respect your friendship but don't you think it was weird that he asked you to take him home and not one of his guy friends?" He asks

I look away from mar start to think.

"Well i mean mattia is my closest guy friend and since we know what it's like to get played we just go to each other" I say

"Look y/n your an amazing girl and I just want you to be happy so if I'm getting in the way of your friendship I'll just step out" he says with confidence

I start to tear up.

"Oh my gosh mar you are the best but no I'm happy with you and mattia will get over it." I say hugging him and kissing him on the lips.
