Y/n pov:
*next day*
Ayiana and I walk into school and I see Mariano running up to me.

"Hey I was looking for you I have great news" he says

"Well im here so what is it?" I ask smiling as I give him a kiss on the cheek

"Well spring break is coming up and I got invited for training camp for football" he says excited.

"So your going to a camp to train for football on spring break?" I ask a bit confused

"Yea and the best part is D1 scouts are gonna be there"he says excited

"Well im happy for you babe I'll miss you" I say smiling.

"I'm not gonna miss you" he says bluntly.

I turn to him with a surprised face.

"Oh uh well then I got to go" I say as I start to walk away.

"Don't you wanna know why?" He asks stopping

"Not really" I say trying to get away

"Y/n wait, here" he says handing me and envelope

"What is it your break up note" I say rolling my eyes

"Just open it" he says smiling

As I open it I see a plane ticket.

"A plane ticket?" I ask

"Y/n your coming with me" he says excited

"I don't think that's a good idea" I say sadly

"What? Why not?" He says frowning

"Because your gonna be busy with football and I don't wanna distract you" I say

"It's just training in the morning so I would be with you most of the day" he says putting his arm around me.

"Mar I think you should go alone, don't get me wrong I would love to go with you. But I think it's best if I don't because your gonna need to rest and we'll your gonna be too tired to be with me" I say

"Oh uh ok then" he says taking the ticket away.

"I'm sorry mar" I say

"No it's ok I understand, uh I'll walk you to class" he says trying to be cheerful.

We walk in and we take our seats. I see a girl walk up to Mariano. I can't hear what they are saying but he give her the ticket and she winks at him.

Mattia pov
I walk into first and I see kairi and I walk toward him.

"Hey what up?" I Ask

"Why did you leave yesterday" he asks

"I didn't feel good I had a head ache" I say bluntly

"Right" he says sarcastically which I ignore.

"Hey did they recruit you for the spring break camp?" He asks me changing the subject

"Nah" I say

"U?" I ask

"Yea but I don't think imma go" he says

"Kai you have to go, you gotta impress the scouts" I say to him

"I heard only football scouts are going this year so it would just be training for us" he says

"Oh I see " I reply

Class started.

"Mr. Polibio your coach wants to see you in his office at once" the teacher says before he starts the lecture

I Cather my things and I head to the office. I walk in and I see my coach sitting at his desk and he tell me to sit.

"Mattia your one of my strongest players and you know that" he says with a sad expression

"Which is why it hurts me to tell you that your off the team" he says

"What?? Sir I don't understand why?" I say

"Someone made a report that you were vaping and that isn't tolerated in the soccer team, or any team for that matter" he says

"I- but sir I never" I start but he cuts me off.

"Mattia this is how I know so please don't lie to me" he says as he shows me a video from y/n's Snapchat.

I get up and walk out of my coach's office and I am so mad I go to the restroom to cool off.

Lunch time

"How could you?" I tell y/n as we walk out of fourth period.

"Excuse me?" She says

"You got me kicked off the TEAM" I yell

"Mattia I didn't do anything" she says

"You took the video and then you send it to coach" I say annoyed

"Mattia what are you talking about?" She asks annoyed

"The video of us that night that we vaped, you sent it to coach and got me KICKED OFF THE TEAM" I yell

"Mattia I never sent the video I would never do that to you" she says

"Ugh just accept it bitch you wanted to get me off the team" I say and leave

"MATTIA" she shouts trying to make me turn around

"MATTIA" she shouts again

"Non voltarmi le spalle Mattia (DONT turn your back on me mattia)" she says in Italian

I turn around walk back to her and I get in her face with anger.

"Non parlarmi mai più (DONT ever speak to me again)" I say as I look down to her.
