It was the middle of the night and the moon's glow was illuminated on nightmare, nightmare just woke up from a nightmare (what a coincidence) sweat droplets were falling off nights face he couldn't help but let go of the tears that he tried so hard not to let go of but failed, he held his face with both of his hands snuffling quietly to not wake up the other two "it's o-ok nightmare it w-was j-just a nightmare i-it isn't real you're a-alive a-and you s-still have your f-friends" nightmare said to himself for the 20th time tonight

That's when he heard a knock from his bedroom door, night quickly wiped his face with the sleeve of his shirt and said "w-who is it?" He mentally cursed to himself for stuttering "it's cross may...may I come in?" said cross, cross was concerned for his friend knowing that he has had nightmares for the past 3 weeks in a row but little did he know night had these nightmares for the past 3 months "yeah come in" nightmare said, cross opened the door and walked in

"Huh you...you look like you been...C  R  Y  I  N  G are...are you ok" cross said concerned for his friend "yeah...i-i'm fine just a little nightmare-" "if you been crying it isn't a little nightmare night" cross said in a Stern tone "...right..." nightmare said cross signed "come on night give me a hug" nightmare got up from his bed and ran to cross and put him in a tight hug and started to cry in cross's chest, cross blushed but hugged back

"hey night why don't you sing or play your violin it makes you happy right?" cross suggested, nightmare just nodded and went over to his violin case and opened it he, haven't played it in a while for some reason he just felt...weird but nonetheless played it

When I was a little boy my mama said to me

"What's your favorite flower darling I'll get you the seed"

I said

"Dandy-lion dandy-lion that one so pretty"

She said

"Child that's not the flower that once just a weed"

Nightmare heard clapping he totally forgot about cross "wow it's been so long since I heard you play and I never you could sing so good" cross complemented night "h-huh oh thanks c-cross" nightmare replied "you want to cuddle on your bed or the couch?" cross said "yeah that would be nice" nightmare said and softly smiled
