Engage the Witch Hunter! pt2

It was night time at Hook cemetery and honestly even though it is a bit scary- "Come out! Nap time's over zombie!" Soul's angry yelling made it a lot less frightening.

"Hey Tsubaki, this is Sid's grave isn't it? Sure this is where we want to start looking? Don't zombies get up and move around a lot?" "might as well check this place first, to make sure he isn't here" Tsubaki answered his question. "I'm not gonna let myself get expelled over a walking dead guy!"Soul kept yelling

"Looks like and ordinary gravestone to me" Blackstar says confused. Sigh I might as well look around myself, until I look over at Maka leaning over a tree "I always thought I was a scythe meister like my mother was, how can I suddenly be expelled?!" Maka sobbed. Dang it, I can't let someone who was nice to me in this state, damn my empathy for people that are nice to me... "UH, hey Maka if it helps I think you're a great meister" I lightly pat her back, damn I am so bad at this "thanks (Y/N) I just hope we don't fail" Maka responds still lightly sobbing.

"WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU HIDING??"Soul shouts louder than before causing me to look in his direction once more, ah what a fun activity looking at crazy people, course I'm one of them but still.

Blackstar wraps his arm around Soul's shoulder and wears the biggest grin "hey Soul, why don't we go and piss on Sid's grave, what do you think about that?" "Yeah and while we're at it why don't we take a dump on it too?!" The two of them continue to try to taunt Sid to come out while Tsubaki tried to get the two to stop, man I would say they're annoying but without them it would honestly be pretty boring.Wait.

Something doesn't feel right- a hand comes out of the ground and takes hold of Maka's ankle, I felt my heart tighten. "Maka!" I Soul yell out, "are you scared girl?" Sid asks as he holds a sharpened stick in his other hand "I think you are" he says ready to stab her. Damn it! I quickly transform my arm into weapon form and go in for a hit, I ultimately miss but wasn't my goal. Sid drops Maka so as to dodge my hit, Soul transforms into a scythe and Maka promptly catches him. "Thanks for the help" she says with gratitude "yeah, no problem!" I smile. "That's what Sid's become" Maka asks seriously, "guess so" Souls answers her question.

"Maka, Soul, Blackstar, Tsubaki, (Y/N), good morning, good afternoon, goodnight" Sid leaned over and picked up his gravestone "how have you been and all that? I always tried to remember my manners, that's the kind of man I was." "Tsubaki let's get ready to end this guy" I hear Blackstar tell Tsubaki, she transforms into her chain scythe mode. "Tell me Sid, why are you doing this?" Maka asks assertively "ding, dong, dong, ding, being a zombie is amazing. There are so many things I can get away with now. Class is in session, I always was a man to start class with  the bell, punctuality is important." "This'll be fun, I get to teach you a lesson now teacher" Blackstar's grin widens "and since it's coming from me you know it'll be a big one!"

"We don't want to get expelled so we'll take your extra weapon" Soul explains, "but I gotta say, I don't know what were going to learn from a decaying piece of flesh.""If you become a zombie then death no longer looms over you. You can escape from fear and be free" Sid claims "That's wrong and you know it. You were never the type of man who would say that" Maka asserts.

"You'll understand when you're dead!" Sid jumps and swings the gravestone at Maka but is quickly stopped, when a chain catches the tombstone. "There will be no need to thank me for the lesson, it's on the house" Blackstar says holding onto the chain scythe."I never was the kind of man--" Sid pulls the gravestone pulling Blackstar "-to hold back!" sending Blackstar flying towards Maka and me knocking us both over but safely landing back up on our feet.

"I'd recommend  you just give up, you one star meisters don't have a chance on beating me" Sid states. "And weapon!" I remark feeling a bit annoyed, though it didn't seem like I was the only one. "I'm hungry! Can we just get his damn zombie soul all ready!?" Soul shouted. "Sid's right one star meisters like us can't compete with him, when he was alive he was designated a three star meister." Maka explains "yeah, yeah whatever. Hey Sid if you keep swinging your tombstone around like that you might bang it into your fat head and die again!" Soul taunted. "It's my tombstone, I can use it however I want can't I? Now then kids it's time for second period" Sid readies the tombstone "ding, dong ,dong, ding, oh yeah I forgot to mention when this lesson is over. You're all gonna die" Sid finishes "then we'll be cutting class today, think I'll go home and take a nice hot bath" Maka spoke.

Maka ran over to Sid and swung her sythe but Sid blocks it with the tombstone, "what's wrong why aren't you working together? You have to establish the connections between weapon and meister" Blackstar rushed towards Sid "I always was an enthusiastic educator!" Sid once more blocks with the tombstone, and sends Blackstar in the air and with a strike of the tombstone sent him straight toward the ground. "Blackstar!" I cry out, okay my turn.

I dash on over to Sid and go for a hit to the side which is dodged completely but I don't stop yet, I reel my arm back and stab with as much force as possible only hit the dreaded tombstone. "You kids never learn do you?" Sid lectured,as I suddenly get slammed with the tombstone "You should've just accepted my offer!"  After the hit I am flung and hit against a tree and goddamn did it hurt.

I feel a warm liquid slowly drip down my face but I barely acknowledge it because everything looked crazy blurry, and the loud ringing in my head, it's insufferable. I feel my eyelids slowly close no, no, no I can't go black out! It seemed almost as if time had completely stopped. Then I see a sudden bright light red light, through my shut eyelids, c'mon, c'mon wake up (Y/N). Before long I feel a light shove to my shoulder, huh? wha- and another shove.

My eyes steadily flutter open and come in contact with ocean blue eyes, ah Blackstar "You okay there you were knocked out for a long time, you're lucky the great Blackstar took care of the fight!" He gave his signature loud laughter "heh, thanks Blackstar." I pause for a short time to process what exactly had just been told to me. "Wait you fought Sid? what happened to him?" I question. "Heh, take a look for yourself" he turns and points at a metal chain, tied up Sid. "woah, are you for real?" I try to get up to take a closer look but my barely conscious body wobbles, which in turn almost makes me fall again but I am caught by Blackstar. "Woah relax" "haha yeah I guess it was dumb after getting hurt like that" I joke about my actions "Well I guess I have no choice"Blackstar says, in confusion I ask "no choice in what-" my sentence is stopped as Blackstar lifting me from the ground, I feel my face immediately heat up and turn a bright cherry red "WH-WHAT ARE Y-YOU DOING??!" I start yelling in a confused panic. "Well you were going go see, weren't you?" Blackstar asks oblivious as to why I was alarmed  "y-yeah??" "Well being the big guy that I am, I'm going to take you!" He started to walk over to Maka, Soul, and a chained Sid. No, NO, NO I cannot let them see me like this please! However over all the anxiety all I say is a small, barely audible "wait.."

3rd PoV

"Here ya go!" Blackstar places (Y/N) down "...thanks"she responds in a strained voice, "h-hey (Y/N) are you okay?" Maka sweatdrops at the frozen (hair color) girl, "yeah.." (Y/N) answers. "Whoa we just sent you to check up on her, what happened" Soul asks Blackstar in a concerned tone, Blackstar shrugs in response confused at the girl's reaction as well.
