Shape of the Soul! pt2

3rd PoV

Soul runs in concern to Blackstar's bloodied body and knelt down to view his friend's injuries "what did you do" he says in anger "Blackstar.." the (H/C) girl whispers in anger with tears threatening to spill from eyes. She seemed to unconsciously transform her arm once more to her weapon form and begun to slowly walk towards Stein stumbling in the process, (Y/N)'s speed slowly picking up speed while raising her arm to ready an attack but like all the other attacks before it is dodged by Stein. (Y/N)'s continues her hits despite all of them being blocked she carries on, her hits slowly seem to get more sloppy and desperate. Stein harshly elbows (Y/N)'s stomach causing her spit up blood and fall to the ground. He then grabs the scruff of her shirt and pulls her to his level "hmm, the quiet one's got bite. Still, only a little better than average" he throws (Y/N) the side.

 Soul looks over to (Y/N) in worry but quickly recovers. "Damn it Stein, you won't get away with this! I'll kill you! Right, lets go and get 'em Maka!" Soul exclaims in determination. Though the same could not be said for his meister "no way" Maka fell to her knees in disbelief and horror causing her partner confusion "huh, what's wrong?"

"This is impossible..." Maka mutters out "hmm seems the little girl can see my soul huh" the taller meister smiled. "We can't, the difference between us is too great" she spoke causing (Y/N) to turn in shock "Hey come on, what's wrong with you Maka?!" Soul angrily yells. Maka looks down "I can't he'll defeat me" "what's the matter with you Maka, why are you just sitting there get up!" "Shut up! You wouldn't be acting so tough if you could see the shape of his soul like I can!" Maka shouts.

"You're wrong I wouldn't care Maka!" Soul shouts "all you saw was a single soul right? You didn't see your future, you can't give up before you even fight! You're supposed to turn me into the strongest death scythe ever! You don't want that worthless father of yours to outshine us do you? Look up and listen to me do you hear me Maka I'm talking to you!" Maka turns over to her partner slowly causing him to grin "good now look over there and tell me what you see" Soul gestures towards Stein "he's been waiting patiently for you to finish this temper tantrum, isn't that so polite of the good doctor Stein?" Maka looks over to Soul once more and gives him a smile.

"C'mon if we die we die cool" he says. Maka gets up from her position "sorry about that, I'm better now." "No problem" Soul transforms changes into scythe form, Maka takes hold of her partner and gets in fighting position. "Lets go! Soul resonance!" They both simultaneously shout making (Y/N) who was still on the ground look at them in awe.

"You're putting everything into one hit?" Stein asks at both Maka and Soul "come on! Let's see exactly how much you souls can handle!" Maka begins to ready her attack "The legendary super skill of the scythe meister! Witch hunter!"

(Y/N)'s PoV

That's what a soul resonance?! I didn't think I'd look this cool! I thought to myself I look over to Tsubaki and it looked like she was thinking a similar thing. Maka then swings the large  scythe at Stein, but he catches it in between both his palms. Maka then uses more force which is able to crack a bit of Stein's glasses "you can control the witch hunter too, but I'm afraid your skills are too rough" Stein then manages to break the attack managing to push Maka and Soul.

He broke through the attack?! My eyes widen in shock as Stein approaches both Maka and Soul "You managed to remain conscious" Stein knelt over Maka. Soul crouched over Maka protectively. "Back away, I won't let you touch my meister" he growled. "In that case I'll start with you" Stein then reaches over Soul's head, damn it, we really failed  i grit my teeth and look away.

"You earned a passing grade good job, your extra lessons are completed" Soul and Maka gave a confused 'huh' at the same time, and honestly I can't blame them "You gave up your own body to protect your own meister, that's all you need to earn a pass from me" Stein continues. "Sorry maybe I wasn't clear the first time I'll say it again, huh?" "Is this for real?" I question in disbelief.

"This was all planned out by Lord Death he asked me to do him a favor, he wanted me to help you with these extra lessons." "But if you were in on it why did you kill Blackstar!?" Soul says baffled and points over to Tsubaki and Blackstar who was now sitting up "I bet you think you're a real funny guy, huh?" Blackstar exclaims "w-what?" This has got to be a joke "He's still alive.. But what about Sid the zombie?!" Soul asks still in shock. "Ah yeah sorry about all this, back when I was definitely the kind of man who would never tell a lie. But a lot of things have changed since then" Sid replies. "OH you don't say! Then what was the point of all of this?? To see if you could scare us to death?!" Soul asks frustrated while Maka tears up "seriously?" "This has got to be a joke" I add in confusion.

"It was just a test, but I confess it was fun scaring you kids like that you should have seen your faces!" Stein smiles widely, I feel my eyes twitch as I finch away, that man is seriously sadistic...

Stein sits back down in his chair and spun around before coming to a sudden stop "Hey everyone! I know you're all tired, why don't you all spend the night at my laboratory?" "That's a big fat no!!" All of us shout simultaneously.

Time skip~~

I lean my head on my desk, still drained from the events that took place last night "I don't ever want to move again" I groan in exhaustion "I'm still worn out from last night" Soul mutters in response "I dreamt Stein was using me in his experiments" Maka confessed. "TSUBAKI! Was Stein a bigger star than me last night?!" Blackstar blurted loudly "seriously?" Tsubaki asks. "I wonder if they hired a new teacher to replace Sid yet?" Soul turns over to Maka "hey maybe your dad will be our teacher again" Maka then shut her eyes in denial "no! anyone but him!" man she really does not like her dad... I glance over at Maka. "Well, at least it can't be worse than your dad" I smile nervously "Yeah, that's for sure" she responds.

A thud is then suddenly heard from the front of the class making everyone look for the source, I then flinch as I find the one responsible for the commotion. Stein, still on the floor casually opens a book "alright class are we ready to get started?"

"This isn't funny" Soul mumbles "this might be the first time, I've actually wanted to see my father!" Maka shrieked. "Why can't I ever keep my ever keep my mouth shut?!" I squeaked in regret. "Damn, that guy sure knows how to get attention" Blackstar scowled at the attention the professor was getting, Stein began to turn the screw in his head "We're gonna start by dissecting some frogs, should be pretty exiting"
