Shape of the Soul! pt1

We all stood in front of the door of the weirdly built structure in front of us. "So this is where we find Stein? Lets hurry and finish this guy off, I'm ready for these lessons to be over" Soul says while analyzing the building in front of us "well at least you can't say it hasn't been exciting" I joke in a quiet tone. "He even put zig-zag stitches in his laboratory" then mechanic mouse walks up to Soul's shoe. "Interesting architecture I wonder what kind of guy this Stein is" Maka questions.

Then the lab door opens with a loud creaking sound "something's coming out of there" Soul states. Everyone of us stood in tense silence waiting for the meister to show up, get ready (Y/N), I mentally tell myself while looking at the dark entrance bracing for something to happen.

A man on an office chair quickly rolled over to us, until he hit a ledge and plunge towards the ground, ummmm what just happened? The white haired man casually gets back onto his chair "Damn it still doesn't feel quite right. Hmm maybe that'll take care of it.. okay I'm gonna try that again" he said while going back in .
"Um, shouldn't someone stop him?" Soul asks "but we just met him isn't that rude?" Maka answers Soul " I'd like to see what happens next" Blackstar says "yeah, so would I" Tsubaki agrees "it's like looking at a car crash I just can't look away" I add.
Once more we hear the squeaking of the wheels and like before he falls off, is this guy for real? I pondered as the others thought the same.

Still on the floor the man says " was there something you kids needed me for?"
" Yeah, if you're really doctor Stein." Soul responds "oh right" I quietly remind myself of our mission "you did this you're the one who turned Sid into a zombie" Maka exclaims. " oh, so that's it, I'm guessing you guys are all students from the academy then?" Stein asks nonchalantly "why did you do this revenge, a grudge?" Maka asks.
"No nothing like that, I have a simpler motive experimentation and observation that's all a true scientist cares about. And I am a scientist, everything in the world is an experimental test subject of course that includes myself as well." "Hey do you feel that Soul? I think something strange is happening " Maka leans to ask Soul "huh? Like what?" 

"Your soul's wavelengths aren't very stable what's more they're quite different from one another other. I see one soul that is careless and arrogant and one that is earnest and strong-willed, they appear to be in resonance but they aren't." Stein says while looking at both Maka and Soul "what the hell? You mean you can still see the soul of someone who is still alive? In that case you must be a meister" Soul says "He was able to read the character of the souls too, only the best meisters can do that." Maka states. "So what? Maka you can see souls clearly like that too right" Souls asks his meister "oh, well of course I can"

"Your soul seems confused by that last statement, how cute" Stein smiles. Maka rapidly covers her chest "stop looking at my soul you creep!" "Yeah! Shut up little doctor man!" Blackstar's voice comes from above "no one wants to hear you talk anymore! Yahoo! How about we change the subject to a more interesting conversation topic, like me for example!" "When did he.." Tsubaki silently questions "Who cares if you can see souls, what does that matter huh? Not like you're going to see anything interesting" Blackstar jumps and lands back to the ground "As far as I'm concerned the only soul worth looking at is mine" Stein laughs "yours is an interesting one, your soul extremely self-centered and more that a little bit wild. It must be rather difficult to find a partner with a soul that is compatible with your own isn't it" Stein asks while turning the screw in his head. "No more talking" Blackstar jumps and goes in for a kick but is blocked by Steins arm, Blackstar goes for another kick but like his first attempt is blocked by Stein and swiftly punches Blackstar in the face causing him to fall over.

"Blackstar!" Tsubaki cries in concern while I try to move in to help but quickly stop myself from moving in closer, no (Y/N) stay out of it for now, Stein turns in Tsubaki's direction "Ah yes I see it now, you must be the wild ones partner. You're always willing to compromise and posses a very accepting nature, it makes sense that you're the one able whose able to cooperate with his souls wavelength" he turns almost as if making sure he had gotten everyone until he spots me, oh boy "here's another interesting one. Although kind and lonely your soul seems to isolate itself from others very fascinating, hmm yes very fascinating indeed." -ghh no need to call me out like that, I think to myself while sweat dropping.

"Who do you think you are old man?" Soul asks in an annoyed tone. "Now that I've gathered the initial data from all of you, I think we're ready to begin the experiment" Stein answers with a smile on his face.

Make runs and swings at Stein various times but Stein dodges the attacks effortlessly "You must be scythe meister Maka" he shoves himself off of Maka making him go back and hit Blackstar "OW, MY FACE!" Stein begins to turn the screw in his head again "hmm lets see, scythe meister Maka. Somethings familiar about that name if I could just put my finger on it" He hits his hand in realization "Ah! Your mother was a meister and your Spirit's little daughter aren't you?"

"Who's Spirit?" Soul asks. "That's what my father was called before he became a death scythe, but I wanna know how you knew about that" Maka responds her weapon's question while getting back up. "I can still remember even now, he looked so peaceful in his sleep. Ah so you are indeed Spirit's darling little daughter, and the daughter of the woman who ended my greatest experiment, I wonder what kind of subject you'd make" he then starts to roll near Maka "It just a tap, just block it" Soul tells Maka "Okay" she says. But as soon as Maka blocks the blow she is thrown back. "Wha- what did he-" "what the hell did he do to me?" Soul questions, Stein gets up from his chair "Lets see here, how should I begin my experiment." Stein says while making a cutting scissors motion.

"Whats wrong Maka? Chill out, your soul waves are completely chaotic." Soul asks in concern. Maka begins to charge ignoring her partner's questions only to be hit once more. "That was a dumb move!" Soul yells at Maka for her actions. Before Maka is able to hit the floor she is pulled by her hair. Soul turns into his human form but still weak from the hit is unable to move "Maka" Soul struggles to say. Stein begins to lift Maka's shirt "Ah you have lovely skin, simply lovely."

Damn it! She's too close to him, I can't do much without risking hurting her I mentally scold myself for not doing anything sooner. "You're about to need a new pair of glasses bastard!" Blackstar dashes in "how could you've forgotten that I'm here?!" "Easily" Stein says annoyed at being interrupted.

"You're not the only one who can use soul waves to attack without a weapon!" "What?" Stein asks in confusion. "BLACKSTAR BIG WAVE!" Blackstar punches Stein's back making him drop Maka "Amazing" Soul says "Incredible I didn't know he could do that" I say in complete awe but it is short-lived. Blackstar slowly backs away after noticing Stein had gone unaffected "A surprise from the wild boy" Stein says "what the hell is going on?!" Soul asks in shock "this is useless" he continues. "You deflected my soul attack"Blackstar states "don't you remember how I checked your soul data when you first arrived here. When I did that I familiarized myself with your soul's wavelengths so now I can adjust mine so they match, when the wavelengths are the same your attack is powerless. You see in the exact moment you attacked we temporarily bonded, it's like the connection between a miester and his weapon. That was a fun experiment but now it's my turn" He immediately sprints towards Blackstar and attacks him using his soul force making Blackstar scream in agony "BLACKSTAR!" Tsubaki yells in panic "LEAVE HIM ALONE!" Soul follows soon after, after his screams ended he drops to the floor blood in his face "BLACKSTAR!" me and everybody else shout in unison.
