A/N: This chapter doesn't feel complete to me. I just wanted to get one out. I hope all of you don't mind. I'm also very sorry for the late release. I just am very tired and stressed. I did my best considering the circumstances so I hope you enjoy. Love all of you ~Amber

Dave didn't know why he was happy. Mike was practically dead at the moment, his face torn up and bloody. He'd die of blood loss eventually. The only sign that he was alive, the only reassurance for the others, was his complaints about his arm. Although they were quiet and exhausted, Mike seemed intent on making his last words a complaint. Dave found that admirable. Meanwhile, he was pretty sure Phone Guy was actually dead. He hadn't made a noise since the cord had been cut and he had hardly moved since the woman left the room. She'd probably come back in a second but she'd gotten a message saying there was a problem and for once it wasn't Dave.

Dave could only see the others from the corner of his eye. Kira was silent yet she had her head held high. Dave didn't blame her. He wasn't quite sure what it was yet she had definitely been through way worse than this. Either that or she was just naturally a heartless sociopath. Anyway, Jeremy was just staring at Mike. He didn't say anything. He just watched. He had a bruise on his cheek from where he'd been punched for speaking 'out of turn'. Was their a turn during torture? It was more of a group project, in Dave's mind, where the one who didn't do any work got a little damaged.

"Well Alfie, you should have been more careful. Now, we've got some starburst maniac running around the place. What is with sadistic murderers and face paint? The new boss kills anyone who mentions it though." A woman said from outside the building. Dave wanted to turn and see what was going on but he couldn't. Starburst maniac? Dave thought about it with a full 1% of his braincells. Nope, it didn't ring a bell. However, he was getting a feeling that he only felt when- no. No, that couldn't be right.

"Not my problem, V. I didn't even think kidnapping them was a good idea. After all, why couldn't we just kill them all on sight?"

"Because that's not as fun!" The female voice responded. The door opened. Dave narrowed his eyes. Alfie was medium sized with muscles that Dave liked to imagine he had. He couldn't really get much muscle, him being a corpse and all. Alfie had ginger hair, that hung across his face like a mop. The woman, or 'V', was much taller. Her wrists, ankles and neck all seemed too thin while the rest of her flopped around. She looked like a scrawny doll or a child's drawing had come to life. Her face seemed like it had been painted on.

"Mrs Jane has had to go deal with some things so me and Alfie are going to be taking over the torture. And my my my, what do we have here! Certainly a looker, don't you think Alfie!" V laughed, looking at Mike. Dave sighed and almost mumbled under his breath "not anymore." However, he couldn't be bothered to talk. How dare they make fun of someone who was making their last words a complaint about why life was shit and he wished he'd fucked more. Dave didn't think he had it in him.

V glanced at the baseball bat on the floor. It was stained with Mike's blood. She grinned and picked it up, weighing it in her hands, before throwing it at the wall, above Kira and Jeremy's heads. They shrunk back, but Kira seemed to have kept herself defiant.

"What was that?" Alfie said mockingly, looking at Kira. Kira glared at Alfie. Anger and hatred seemed to fill the room. Dave could only really link it to things he knew about. Things he'd learnt in the past. Things like remnant pain. He could sense it from Mike as well. It was strange. For the first time, he didn't like seeing their emotions as nothing but a simulation created to protect themselves. He didn't think it was right to see them as objects. However, in the end, that was all anyone was. Even old Phoney was a freak experiment gone right but mostly wrong. Dave grinned is sickened joy. It was like when Henry- Henry... no, best not to think about it. Henry was long since gone. The poor man was a visionary though. Dave had every ounce of respect for him.

Taking a moment from the narrative, I as the author do not know how to describe what happened next. I think that Alfie removed the tape from Kira's mouth. She definitely screamed. However, since I don't exactly know the next few events, I'm going to make something up. Let's say, after Kira screamed, she bit Alfie.

Dave gleefully laughed when he saw Kira sink her teeth into Alfie's hand. Alfie screamed, slapping Kira with his hand and pulling his out from her mouth. Kira had drawn blood. Kira kicked at Alfie's ankles. V ran over with a syringe, probably hoping to knock Kira out. However, another inaudible scream arose from outside the room. Dave's eyes widened. He felt his heart beat faster. The tension in the room was almost electric. Everyone was frozen with their eyes on the door. A fucking gun was pointed at V's head. another was pointed at Alfie. There, in all his glory, was an orange man. He looked from Dave, to Kira, to Jeremy, to Phoney, to Mike then back to Dave. Dave himself was absolutely speechless. The orange man locked eyes with V.

"Well, I'm going to have to stop you right there miss. After all, I haven't had the chance to give you the full Fazbear welcome."

There's one thing Dave remembered about this orange man. When a situation was truly serious, his shots never missed.

I don't even think he gave Alfie or V a chance to scream.
