Mattia's pov:

After I found out my wife and daughter were in that car crash it felt like my whole world just stopped. Emma was dead and I was just waiting for Lina to open her eyes but she hasn't opened her eyes for 13 years. She looks Just like Emma. She had been in a coma ever since she was 4 so she is now 17. The boys visit and switch spots so we could check in her. I see the doctors come in and check her. It just broke my heart.

Doctor: her vitals are normal
Mattia: ok

He walks out and I just Barry my head into her side. I felt someone put their hand on my shoulder. I look to see my family and the boys. I hug them and we all just sit and talk.

Ale: so mattia hows she doing
Mattia: the doctor said her vitals are normal
Mom: matti what if she never wakes up
Mattia: no má she is going to wake up I can't lose another one má I just can't I already lost Emma I can't lose Lina
Ros: calm down mattia she is going to wake up

I lean back on my chair and just watch her breathing. Her lungs go in and out slowly being noticeably. I start to hear a groan and I see it come from Lina. I see her open her eyes and look at me.

Lina: pá
Mattia: yes Lina it's me princess

She starts to cry and I hold her. The doctors come and check her. She would have to stay for another day for MRI. She just looks at us and tilts her head to the side.

Lina: where's má
Mattia: princess you have been in a coma for 13 years. Má died 13 years ago when you and her got into a car crash. She died on scene and you went into a coma.
Lina: what no she came back alive and and lived with us no she's not dead she's not I just said I saw her last night
Ale: what do you mean

Lina explained everything that was going on in her head. She basically thought she was living what she was living in her head but it was just her mind.

Lina: no where is Derek, where's love where are my boys at
Mattia: baby they don't know who you are
Lina: no no they can't there my best friends I can't lose them like I lost Avani please where are they
Mom: should I get the nurse
Mattia: please

She start to cry while telling me everyone was alive and Avani died by getting hit by a car. She was crying till the doctor came in and take her away. They come back to see Lina sleeping.

Mattia: what did you do to my daughter
Doctor: we ran some test and we gave her some medication to make her sleep.

After a hour I see Lina waking up. I hold her hand she looks at me in tears.

Mattia: what's wrong princess
Lina: you think I'm crazy
Maria: what no
Lina: you don't believe me
Alo: tia I don't think she understands

The doctors come in and I instantly turned my attention on them.

Doctor: the results came in and we diagnosed her
Mattia: what is it
Doctor: she has lucid dreaming
Kai: what's that
Doctor: basically Lucid dreaming is a unique dream state where you are aware you're dreaming and have the ability to control what's happening in your dream. If you didn't know any better (which you may not until you wake up), you may think you're experiencing real life
Mattia: so my daughter experience lucid dreaming
Doctor: yes because while she was in a coma her mind was able to dream in 13 years of real life
Lina: I'm not crazy my mom is alive
Doctor: there is a side affect to that
Mattia: and that is
Doctor: she feels like everything in her dream is real so she said in her dream that her mom is alive and Avani is dead and her best friends are real but in reality her mom is dead Avani is alive and her best friends don't know who she is
Dad: so is it curable
Doctor:. Yes it is but you have to tell her the truth and tell her none of that stuff is true
Alo: ok thanks doc
Doctor: take care see you tomorrow

He leaves and I look to see Lina have tears in her eyes.

Mattia: it's ok

I sit in her bed and pull her head on my chest. I start to play with her hair making her clam down.

Lina: so none of that stuff is real
Mattia: no I'm sorry princess
Lina: wait are you tiktok famous
Mattia: yes and everyone knows your in a coma and is in the hospital
Lina: oh ok but everything else is fake
Mattia: yep
Lina: ok I understand

I kiss her head. So her lucid dream should go away because she understands that none of that stuff is real. Me and the boys sleep on the bed with Lina in between us. My parents went home. I fall asleep knowing I still have my daughter.

Next morning

I wake up to the sound of the door. I open my eyes to see Lina gone. I look to the direction of the door to see Lina come out the bathroom.

Lina: sorry pá did I wake up up
Mattia: no I was just worried
Lina: yep same pá from the dream
Mattia: what
Lina: over protective, worries 24/7 yep you
Mattia: well I'm your father so of course I'm going to be like that
Lina: this is why in my dream I never listen
Mattia: huh
Lina: nothing I love you

She came and jumped on me giving my cheek a kiss. The doctor came in and took Lina. She came back with a huge smile on her face.

Mattia: is it good or bad
Lina: well I have no more lucid dreaming
Mattia: omg that's so good

I hug her and she hugs me tight. We grab our stuff and Lina and Alvaro start to race to the car making Alvaro call dibs on the front seat. I see Lina smack the shit out of a Alvaro rubbing his head. We all laugh and get in the car. We drive home and Lina goes to her room. It looked a lot bit more her style so I'm pretty sure she doesn't like it but oh well.

Lina: I LOVE IT GUYS I LOVE YOU SO MUCH

I hear Lina scream from the top of the stairs making us all laugh. We all watch a movie and later fall asleep

Linas pov:

2 years past and I have my best friends Kobe,Vallyk,mike,Avani, and Derek. Me and Derek are dating for 1 year now. I love them so much and our bond is just like in my dream. I told them about what happen and they understand. Avani is like a really nice person just like my dream but is like me so you can say we are twins. I have a baby girl and she looks like me. Yea I know we are young but you only live once right so. I'm 19 years old I'm pretty sure I can have a kid. I live with my uncles and dad. My best friends all live together so we all live in a mansion with all our savings from over the years. My babygirls name is Ava polibio trendz. Me and Derek decided to get marry because I love him and he loves me. I know all this stuff is rushed but hey I didn't know you could love someone so much.

Lina: and that's my story
Ava: I love hearing it
Lina: yea well I remember it like it was yesterday
Ava: will that ever happen to you and me mommy
Lina: I'm the car accident
Ava: yea
Lina: hunny no and I'm not leaving your side for a really really long time
Ava: ok promise
Lina: promise
Derek: yes and "forever"
Lina: and forever

I tuck Ava in her bed and shut her light out. I kiss her head and close the door. I turn to Derek and smile at him. He pulls me by my waist and kiss me.

Derek: I love you lina polibio trendz
Lina: omg I love you too derek trendz

We walk to our bed and get in. I turn the light off and kiss Derek on the lips one more time before falling asleep. I go to sleep thinking my life has to be the most craziest. I'm glad that I eventually got to meet my best friends and live happily ever after.
