I entered into the respective class room as guided by one of the staffs. It took a bit of time for me to find the exact room as it was situated in a different block with which I was not familiar of.

I occupied myself a seat in the back row as I waited for rest of the members to come in for the so called meeting.

It was the nearly the end of the second month of my first-year and the office already selected a couple of freshers as the staffs for the campus news paper. This meeting is supposed to introduce and familiarise us to the rest of the team members which involves other students from the senior batches and a teacher who was the guide.

Well, I didn't volunteer myself for this, infact they didn't even ask my consent. They checked my past records and achievements in writing and photography, just the enough information they need to pick me straight for the campus news paper.

I roamed my eyes around, checking if any one saw me walking in with my unusualy stained hoodie. But to my luck, most of them seem to be pretty busy with their phones. While a very few nervously staring down to their feet, nervously biting their nails, nervously mimicking a statue or nervously staring at the blank wall - yup, freshers. With no doubt.

I smiled softly to myself at this scared vibe the first-years carried when ever they were stuffed into a room with the seniors. Some thing I quite didn't understand why, for I barely felt the same, unless when it came to you.

Within a few minutes, rest of the members also barged in to the classroom. Some as couples, some as trios and some as singles, shutting and opening the glass door continuosly.

Finally the teacher, a middle-aged man with a perfectly ironed and buttoned shirt walked into the class and stood next to the wooden podium, placing his arms on its edges as he corrected his rectangular spectacle.

"Good afternoon all."

He greeted the students loudly with a warm smile. Small lines of wrinkles showing up at the sides of his eyes as he smiled. The class instantly fell silent before greeting him back.

"Is everyone present or is there more to arrive?"

He looked at his wrist watch and asked for confirmation before we could start the meeting. His eyes roamed around the heads in the class with a couple of printed papers in his hand, which I assume is the list of our names.

Suddenly I heard the door creak, breaking the growing silence.

I saw how the teacher's attention averted to the door frame.

"We were waiting for you."

He said gently with another warm smile to the 'whoever' it was standing at the door frame.
