"Do you know what time it is?" Affinity yawned while her head sunk deeper into her arms that rested on the table.
John B turned his phone over to check the time. "Quarter till one," he answered sleepily.
"Seriously? I'm surprised they haven't kicked us out yet."
"Yeah, we should probably get out of here. We have everything we need."
"What exactly are we going to do for the next four hours?" She asked. "The first ferry doesn't depart until five."
John B grabbed his backpack and slung it over his shoulders. "I don't know, we will figure something out."
Affinity stood to her feet and stretched. "Can we eat? I haven't eaten since lunch."
He chuckled slightly. "I'm sure there's a diner somewhere that's still open."
"Okay, then let's move it or else my stomach might start eating itself."
"Yeah, and I'm the dramatic one."
Affinity punched him in the shoulder. "Like you have any room to talk."
"Now I just think you're hangry," he snickered.
"I bloody will be if you're not careful there, mate," she shot back in a British accent.
"Ah, are you threatening me, Viv?" John B played along.
"I will put you in my sauna if I have to," she threatened.
John B threw his hands up in surrender. "Whoa, read loud and clear, no thank you!"
"At least you learn quickly."
John B nodded up ahead to a neon blue sign up that shone above a building up ahead, reading: Niko's. "How about this one?"
Affinity shrugged. "I eat anything."
John B jogged up to the door and opened it for her. "After you, madame."
Affinity playfully curtsied as she walked through the door. "You're too kind, my good man."
John B bowed and laughed, then following behind. Affinity selected a booth and plopped down onto the squishy seat, feeling her entire body finally relax. She leaned herself up against the wall and stretched her legs out across the seat, one arm dangling over the seat while the other desperately grabbed a menu. John B sat across from her and picked up a second menu. It didn't take long for her to decide what she wanted.
"You ready?" She asked.
"Fin, I haven't even looked at the menu yet," he scoffed.
Affinity pursed her lips together. "Well, decide fast because I'm waving the waiter over anyway."
John B opened his mouth in protest, but no argument followed. He only huffed and started to look a little quicker while Affinity waved over a young boy. The boy smiled and started to walk towards them.
