Crystal, or Crysti for short, stepped in front of the shiny salmon-colored steps of her new school. Her long, white hair gently brushed the skin right below her denim shorts. Her pink-white string bag rested on her back. It had crystal patters on it and reflected the light. She wore a VERY pale blue tank-top. To a slightly colorblind person, her pale skin and usual outfit made her look like a white ghost. Though her features would make a boy comment that she looked more like an angel.

A couple kids rushed past into the doors. As they caused her white hair to fly, she saw their outfits. They also were exercising the school's relaxed dress code. One wore a strapless pink top and booty shorts. The other wore a crop top and black jeans. Luckily, this was an all-girls school, so Crysti wouldn't have to put up with boys not wearing enough.

Ready to take her majestic first steps, Crysti lifted a pale leg and placed it on the stone step. It was shiny... And slick, too. Crysti lost her balance. With a yelp, her leg flew back behind her and her face took its place a few steps ahead. Well, that was a failure she thought to herself.

Jeans brushed against her head. She tried to lift her head, but found that someone in Converse was stepping on some of the long hair that was splayed out. "Ow!" She screamed as the person let go of her hair in one step. Crysti stood and brushed the dirt out with her fingers.

The person wore a giant black hoodie. They scooped it down to reveal short black hair cut in a bob. She had raven-feather earrings. Her closed eyes had dark blue shadow and mascara. She opened them to reveal dark brown. "Sorry. See you in class." With a sweeping motion, she put the hood on and ran up the steps. The blue-eyes Crysti stared in shock.

First day, first fail. Happens to everyone. Crysti sighed and carefully walked up the steps to school. Time to begin the first day of a new life.
