Will You Marry Me?

MADELINE POV

I sat beside Grayson as we prepared to arrive in Paris. I had been looking forward to this trip for a very long time. I knew at some point in my life I would visit Paris. I had always wanted to go there since I was a child.

I was just happy to know that I would get to visit the city of love with the man I love. 

Soon we had arrived at our hotel. As we entered our room I practically ran to the balcony to take in the beautiful view of the city. I loved how I could see the Eiffel Tower from here.

"Look Grayson, you can see the Eiffel Tower from here!" I was very excited.

Grayson walked over to me and I felt him embrace me from behind.

"I am so glad to see you this happy." 

I turned around to face Grayson and I hugged him back.

"Thank you Grayson for making my dream come true and taking me here." 

I felt him kiss my head.

"I love you" 

"I love you" I told him.

We put our clothes in the drawers and we headed out to explore the city. 

Grayson grabbed my hand and we walked to a Cafe to have lunch. We sat down and quickly ordered. 

"I want to take you somewhere special tonight. I'm not going to tell you where it is but we need to be ready by 8." 

Grayson was so sweet.

"Now I really want to know where we're going. But I won't ask since it's clearly a surprise. Thank you Grayson." I smiled at him.

"You're so beautiful when you smile." 

He pulled my hand to his lips and he kissed it. Grayson was very affectionate and wasn't afraid to show it.

Our food finally came and we ate.

As soon as we were done we walked around the streets of Paris and visited some shops. It was so much fun just being with Grayson. This city was beautiful but I knew it wouldn't have been as fun if I was here with someone else that wasn't Grayson. He made me happy. 

We visited the shop Laduree and purchased some macarons. Grayson wasn't a fan of sweets but he knew how excited I was to visit this shop so he bought me a whole box of macarons. 

We took pictures together everywhere we went. I truly wanted to treasure these moments. 

It was getting late and we needed to get ready for this surprise Grayson had planned for me.

As soon as we arrived at the hotel I began to style my hair and I did my makeup. Luckily I had brought with me an elegant dress just in case we went somewhere special. 

I had finally finished getting ready and just in time. Grayson had been busy making some phone calls and getting ready himself he hadn't seen me yet. 

As I walked over to him he smiled. 

He wrapped his arms around my waist and he pulled me in for a kiss. 

"You look beautiful" 

"Thank you. You look very handsome in that suit." Grayson looked amazing in everything he wore. He had these beautiful eyes, a handsome face, and the body of a god.

We headed out right after that. We got into a taxi and as soon as I got out I knew where we were heading.

The Eiffel Tower stood before me. We walked to the elevator and we were taken to the top. Grayson had made a reservation for us at a restaurant in the Eiffel Tower.

We were lead to our table. I was so happy to see that we got to sit near the window.

Grayson ordered us some wine and we ordered our food. Our server then left.

"Thank you so much Grayson for doing this. This means a lot to me." 

I couldn't believe that he had organized this for us. The view from here was breathtaking. I had always dreamed about visiting the Eiffel Tower and viewing the beautiful city of Paris at night like in the movie Ratatouille. It was my favorite film as a child and now my childhood dreams were coming true thanks to Grayson. 

"You're welcome my love. I just want to make you happy. I'm glad I was able to do that today." 

He grabbed my hands and kissed them.

Our food came and we ate. We talked about the different museums and locations we planned to visit during our trip. I always had a good time whenever I was with Grayson. He just made everything better.

We finished our food and we left. We both wanted to walk around the Eiffel tower and take in a better view so we decided to go back to our hotel later.

As we walked around Grayson suddenly stopped me and grabbed my hands.

"You are the most beautiful person I know. Sometimes I wonder how I got so lucky to have you by my side. We've known each other our entire lives yet the day we met I knew you were the one for me. I was only a child but even then you made my heart skip a beat. You make me happy and I don't see myself with anyone else but you. I love you Madeline." 

He went on one knee and opened up a small box with a beautiful ring.

"Will you marry me?"

Grayson was shaking. I could tell he was nervous.

I felt tears run down my cheeks. I was crying tears of joy.

"Yes!" I answered.

He put the ring on. 

He then picked me up and spinned me around as we kissed. 

"Be prepared, now that you said yes I don't plan to ever let you go." 

I didn't plan on letting him go either. 

I then hugged him. I wrapped my arms around his large frame. He hugged me back with the same gentleness.

I couldn't believe it. I was engaged to Grayson Lockwood, the man I love.
