~3 month later~

Hermione's POV:
Harry and I have been going strong for the few months even after we told Ron he admitted that he had feelings for me but after some time away the feelings ebbed away. In those months we found a few more Horcruxes which were the diadem,Hufflepuffs cup and we found out his snake nagini is a horcrux. Harry was just about to leave to see the memories from Snape when I told him "I'm coming with you remember we're in this together" he nodded and we made our way to the headmasters study as fast as we could

Harry's POV: when we finished watching the memories Hermione pulled me into a bone crushing hug and said "I'm coming with you" "mione I have to do this kill the snake then it's just him" "Harry I can't let you do that I love you and I promised I'd be by your side through everything even death" I had tears in my eyes I knew Hermione was stubborn but hell I didn't know she was stubborn to die by my side "baby I love you more than I can explain but I have to do this I promise I'll find a way to make it back to you"

Hermione's POV:
When Harry said those words I had no choice but to let him go but before he left he kissed me like it was like our lives depended on it which in this case it kinda did our lips longed for longer but knew that this was goodbye he left before either of us could change our minds I cried in the office for what felt like hours but was mere moments after I reluctantly got up and made my way to the great hall to find our friends

Harry's POV:
as I was making my way to the forbidden forest I opened the snitch inside was the resurrection stone which I held all my dead loved ones and a few I faintly recognized and looked oddly similar to Hermione which I came to the conclusions as her parents and brother. I looked over and saw my mother saying "sweetheart it's alright your ready" "is it painful?" Sirius then said "easy as falling asleep" I nodded and said "will you stay with me?" "Always" I dropped the stone and made my way into the forest where Voldemort stood no wand,sword or weapon of any kind I closed my eyes then I heard the words I've been fearing for so long "AVADA KEDAVRA" before I realized it I was in a white room that I fairly recognized then I recognized one person there that I though I'd never see. Dumbledore. I walked up to him and said "sir? Where are we?" "Perhaps you recognize this place Harry" "it looks like kings cross but it can't be can it sir?" "It may be but nor do I believe so" "how am I here did I die? Is that how I can see you?" "Not necessarily Harry from what I came here after being with ms. Granger am I correct in assuming so?" "Yes sir? But what does that have to do with being here?" "Well that's the curious thing I believe in the same instance when you were a baby and your mother was protecting you with her love had a reverse affect including you and ms.granger where your love for her wanted to protect and in doing so provided protection to keep you alive and protect her" "how does that work sir? I can't go back can I?" "I suppose you could but only if you wished to would you like to return or stay and watch everyone and their live their lives?" "I'd like to return like you said I have a girlfriend I need to protect" Dumbledore smiled and before I knew it my vision returned I immediately saw Hagrid carrying me his gaze dropped for a split second and he looked shocked I gave him a look and he continued walking we soon approached the main courtyard of Hogwarts and Voldemort's cold voice shouted across the area where everyone could hear "Harry Potter is dead!!" I had to act dead but I wanted to look so bad for my girlfriend but before I could do that I heard a scream from the other side

Hermiones POV:
When I heard the words I was dreading since the beginning my whole world crashed I knew it was coming but when i actually saw him and heard those words I almost ran to him screaming before Ron pulled me back saying "he'll kill you don't" reluctantly I moved back Voldemort said "silly girl Harry Potter is dead" all his death eaters laughed I didn't know how to feel Ron still had a strong hold on me I looked over at Harry and saw his eyes twitch a little that gave me hope next thing I knew Neville started a speech (A/N: this is the same speech as in the movie and books so I'm not going to bore you with that) Harry jumped out of Hagrid arms and I saw him I starting running to him when I saw him I said "Harry wait" he saw me and ran towards me we kissed passionately I pulled back and said "I thought you were dead" he said "you can't get rid of me that easily baby" I smiled and said "remember Voldemort is still trying to kill us let's keep moving" "right of course yea" we kept running until we came across nagini Harry was trying to protect me but we were cornered before she could attack Neville came with the Gryffindor sword and sliced her head off in one clean slice I thanked Neville and Harry did the same Harry told me "I need to kill him that's the only way to fulfill the prophecy" I nod we find him in the courtyard I was adamant about helping Harry as much without killing him since Harry had to do that in the end so I stunned Voldemort to the best of my abilities while holding Harry's hand Voldemort was weakened and Harry took that as his chance to kill him Harry shouted "arresto momentum" he froze then Harry said "bombarda" and before we knew it he was dead disappearing into ashes everyone made their way out to the courtyard where Harry and I were but neither I nor Harry could hear anyone we tuned the world out I starred into his brilliant green eyes and slowly leaned into a passionate kiss with longing until we broke apart to hear cheering aeound the courtyard I starting blushing and smiling like crazy while Harry starred into my eyes.
