Hermione's pov:
I've been staying with harry in grimauld place for the last week since the war and I couldn't imagine it any different.

Harry has been the best boyfriend always making sure I'm safe being extra protective and considerate.

We are both just about to leave for the ministry to file the paperwork to have custody over teddy.

We've only visited him once this week but he seems so excited to be living with us. He is only a year old which is great practice seeing as me and harry are going to be parents to our own child in a few months speaking of our baby im going to my first appointment at st mungos in 2 weeks where we will find out the gender. Being the studious person that i am i wanted to research everything about pregnancy and even pregnancy in the wizarding world i found one curious thing in the wizarding world pregnancy only lasts 5 months instead of 9 which explains why I've been growing faster than normal but after the birth the baby grows at a normal speed which im glad about because I dont want my baby to grow up before my eyes and harry agrees.

When it comes to all the research on babies I've been curious on names for a while so I asked harry "harry!!" "Yea baby"he said as he wrapped his arms around my waist I giggled and said "I was thinking we should talk about baby names" "I've actually thought of a few if im being honest" "okay what are they?" "For a boy I was thinking Noah james potter and for a girl I was thinking adalyn jean potter" I immediately started to tear up not of sadness but from pride I was so happy harry was thinking of my mother's name when thinking of our baby. Harry saw this and said "oh mione I didnt mean it like that" I interrupted him with a kiss then saying "no I love that you though of my mom I love both names harry we just have to wait and see the gender now" he smiled and said "oh shoot we have to go to the ministry right now" I jumped up and said "your right lets go" we flooed to the ministry. since im not aloud to apparate anymore we walked hand in hand to the magical law enforcement department. When we got to the head office we were welcomed in by the head when he said "ah ms.granger and mr.potter ive been expecting you two please sit"

We sat down across from him and he said "now seeing as you two are the Godparents of teddy lupin and both parents are no longer with us we have to start the paperwork" i nodded along with harry he pulled out a large stack of papers and me and harry got to signing all the papers when we finished the head told us "congratulations you are now the legal quardians of teddy lupin let me call my assistant to bring him in along with all his things" we nodded as he sent a patronus to his assistant. A few minutes later his assistant came in carrying a small child in her arms and a trunk in her other hand. The lady handed the boy recognized as teddy lupin to me teddy saw me and immediately cuddled into my hair which I giggled at. The head then said "alright well this is all his stuff you can take him home now congratulations you two" we both thanked him i carried teddy while harry carried his trunk we flooed back to grimmauld place
