the realization: a harmione story

burrow and godrics hallow

3rd person's pov:
The day right after harry and hermione got teddy they thought it'd be a good idea to take teddy with them to see the weasleys and harry wanted to go to godrics hallow to visit his home and parents graves since he never got to see it

Hermione's pov: i was getting myself and teddy ready in the morning while harry was making us breakfast. Harry still has kreature around but he refuses to let kreature cook since he knows how to cook so well after persuasion to both harry and kreature we are giving him weekly wages and days off since im still persistent about s.p.e.w. once done I came downstairs to see harry flipping pancakes quite well i might add he doesn't see me so i put a finger to my lips to tell him to be quiet he understands i put him in his high chair while I sneak up behind harry what I wasnt anticipating was him to turn around scooping me up in his arms and tickling me then he said "love did you really thing you can sneak up on me remember I'm seeker on the house quidditch team"i giggles and said "no i didn't I was just hoping oh and i know this might be surprising but I wanted to ask you something about quidditch" harry looked shocked and sort of excited by the fact i asked about quidditch but he only said "continue" "well I never really realized but when we were  finding the diadem in the r.o.r. and I was flying it honestly felt exilerating like I enjoyed it i realised that it might be fun to try quidditch and I was thinking you could teach me and maybe I can try out for the house team?" I said this with a smile on my face he looked shocked then excited then said "really? What happened to the hermione granger I knew who'd never get on a broom unless her life depended on it" he said this all with a cheeky grin I knew so well I giggled and said "maybe you don't know me that well" with a smirk he laughed and twirled me around since I was still in his arms he then said "I'd love to teach you but it shocks me obviously ill get you a firebolt too and I wanted to get teddy a broom as a late birthday present" "harry you don't have to do that for me-" "nonsense I insist" I rolled my eyes and said "fine but I'm getting you back for this" he laughed and put me down luckily no pancakes are burnt i laughed and got drinks while harry set the rest up teddy was messing around with his hair and we were laughing hysterical

Harrys pov:
After we apparated outside the burrow mione carrying teddy while I took the diaper bag we walked to the front door and knocked when the door opened we were pulled each into bone crushing hugs by mrs.weasley hermione giggled and said "good morning mrs.weasley its good to see you" she let us inside and said "dears call me molly you two and teddy are our family" we both smiled and said "okay molly" she then said "oh this must be teddy let me see him" hermione handed him over and said "now I have two grand babies" we laughed and she invited us to sit "now I know things have been hard its hard for us too but hermione how are you dealing with your family?" I saw her get teary and pulled my arm around her waisted she rested her head on my shoulder and said "im getting there its hard but knowing that I'm not alone knowing harry and teddy had the same thing happen helps" she nodded sympathetically and said "do you guys want to see ginny and ron?" I nodded while hermione was still resting on my shoulder she called them down they saw us and pulled us into hugs and asked how were doing.

We all visited for a little bit all of them playing with teddy for a bit after lunch we left to go to godrics hallow while mione didn't know it i had a surprise waiting for her when we got there. I apparated hermione,teddy, and I to godrics hallow fairly close to my home when I was one.

We made our way up the steps to the house still demolished for the sake of memory which got me on the verge of tears but I wiped them away but mione noticed and said "are you sure you want to do this" i nodded and she kissed me on the cheek.

We walked up i opened the door since It was still unlocked and walked inside we made our way up to the room than started it all i saw it was mostly demolished there was a hole in the wall and ceiling leading outside the crib was half in shreds and the rest was hard to make out hermione looked over to see if I was okay she saw my face for a split second and knew I wasn't she wrapped her arms around me which almost instantly made me feel better.
