Andddddd onto the book

The Dursley's had dropped us off and laughed when they left. Why were they laughing,  you ask? The platform on the ticket was Platform 9 3/4. Something that does NOT exist. So we were stranded. Two (Assumed) eleven year old's all on their own in the middle of a train station. Harry had actually left to ask the instructor or whatever if he could help us find it, and scolded him for wasting his time.

I sighed and looked around. I glanced over things until they fell upon a red-headed family. There were six of them, I think. Two girls and four boy. Harry noticed too, and we heard them say 'Muggles,' which is the term for non-magical people, so we knew they had to have some clue. Not to mention they had trolley's filled with Hogwarts supplies as well.

Harry and I stood by and watched as the mother told one of the boys to go first. They all stood in a sloppy line on the side and watched as their brother took a sort of jogging start, and ran into the wall, disappearing.

I blinked a few times as a pair of twins went in next, they had previously played some type of joke that I was unaware of. I watched as they too, disappeared after running through the wall.

Harry walked up to the woman with caution, slowly followed by me. "Excuse me?" He asked and the plump woman turned and smiled warmly at us. "First year at Hogwarts? It's Ron's too." The woman said and Harry nodded sheepishly while I returned the smile. "The, uh, the thing is, we don't know how to-" Harry was cut off by the woman nodding. "Not to worry, All you have to do is walk between the platforms nine and ten. Don't stop, and it'd be best if you give it a little run." Harry looked doubtful, but something made me trust her. So I put my hand on Harry's shoulder and walked in front of the wall.

I breathed in, slightly nervous. Of course I would be nervous. But now is not the time to get side tracked. I pushed the cart forward and closed my eyes, waiting for the impact to hit, but it never did. I opened my eyes, and there stood a train. I couldn't help but smile. We were really here now. Away from the Dursley's and to be ourselves. Harry followed soon after, and we immediately set to finding a compartment to put our stuff in.

After we managed to make it through the crowd of people and find an empty compartment by the back of the train, we had to put our stuff in. We first put Hedwig and Remedy in- our owls- and then went to get our trunks. Harry attempted to lift his up the steps, but failed and ended up dropping it on his foot twice, causing giggles from me. "Harry, I think that I may have more luck with that than you will. Here, watch out." I pushed him behind me and actually got my trunk up and I put it in the compartment.

When I got back I saw Harry and the two twin red-heads from earlier. Harry flushed red when he saw me and muttered something to the boys. "Something wrong?" I asked and jumped off the steps, landing next to Harry. I looked up at him as he shook his head and glared at me. "Aw, is Harry upset that a girl is stronger than him?" I poked his side and he flushed a deeper scarlet, causing yet again, another giggle out of me. This time, I saw the twins flush red.
