"BROTHER? WHERE ARE YOU GOING AT THIS HOUR OF THE NIGHT?" Red flinched and almost yelped when his brother called him, almost making him fall down the stairs. "By the stars, Bro, ya want ma ta end up at the hospital or what? This is dangerous, dammit!" "WELL, I WOULDN'T HAVE REACTED THIS WAY IF I HAD KNOWN THAT YOU WERE LEAVING THE HOUSE AT THREE IN THE MORNING WITHOUT HAVING TOLD ME SO." "...Erm..." "SO. CARE TO EXPLAIN WHAT'S HAPPENING?" They were in front of Edge's bedroom, the lights turned off. the only light were emitted by Red's glowing eye. "I'm just taking a walk, nothing much. Go back ta sleep now." Edge frowned, his eyesockets squinting. "YOU'RE HIDING SOMETHING. WHAT IS IT?" Red began to sweat nervously, but didn't relent. "N-Nothing bro, really! I was just not tired at all, and thought that a small walk would help me!" "YOU? NOT BEING TIRED? THAT DEFINITELY IS SUSPICIOUS..." "....Erm..." Edge crossed his arms, looking a little hurt. "WHY DON'T YOU TRUST ME ENOUGH TO TELL ME WHAT'S GOING ON?"
Red looked down, fiddling with his fingers. His brother was really good at making him feel guilty, and he knew that fact oh so well. Red couldn't fool him. "...If I had told ya what I'm planning ta do, ya would have try ta stop me." "...THAT DANGEROUS?" "Eh, not really. More like stupid. But...erm...If I get caught, I might go to prison? or to trial first then to prison." Edge's eyelights grew bigger, worry dripping from his Soul. "WHAT ON EARTH ARE YOU PLANNING TO DO?! AND WHERE?" "Ah sorry bro, but I can't tell you that." Red turned around and got down ,nearing the door. "...THAT HAS A LINK WITH HIM, DOESN'T IT?" Red's hand froze on the doorknob, his eyelights wide. "...*SIGH* I KNEW IT..." "...Are ya going ta stop me?" "...NO, I WON'T." Red turned to Edge, surprised. "Ya won't?" Egde shook his skull, slowly going back to his bedroom. "Why?" "...BECAUSE I UNDERSTOOD SOMETHING: FROM THE MOMENT YOU BEGAN TO CARE FOR SOMEONE, YOU WANT NOTHING BUT THEIR HAPPINESS. AND TO DO THAT, YOU'RE WILLING TO DO ANYTHING. IN YOUR CASE, YOU'RE WILLING TO HEAL, TO GET BETTER, FOR HIM. LOVE IS QUITE POWERFUL,RIGHT?" Red smiled softly, eyelights strained on the floor. "Yeah..." He turned back to the door, opening it quietly. "I'll call ya when I'll be done, okay? So don't worry too much about me, 'kay?" And with that, Red went away. Edge sighed, going back to bed. "YOU BETTER BE OKAY, YOU BONEHEAD..."
Red breathed deeply, telling himself that everything would be fine, that if he did well, none of the people out there would notice him. He pushed open the doors of the biggest hospital of Ebott City, thinking hard about his plan. No one trully paid attention to him. Of course, he was a little nobody, and he didn't look hurt, nor sick. But at the same time, people here were all healthy, as it wasn't the main building there. While the main building was the one where people would come to be taken care of, but here, it was mainly for maintenance, the doctors and patients files. That was perfect for him. He stopped in front of a map, detailing the whole building. He searched for a moment, before finally seeing what he had been looking for. Now, he looked for small details...Ah yes, here it is. Now, time to put his plan into motion. He was still looking at the map with his ha,ds in his pocket. His left hand glowed lightly, but it was hidden by his jacket. Nearby, a fire-alarm device was engulfed by red magic, then it was triggered. A high-pitched sound echoed in the entire building, making everyone gasp in panic. People began to run aimlessly in full panic. Good. Red acted as if he was panicking too, and he ran in the corridors going backwards. After a moment, he slowed down, thinking about the map and visualize where he was, and where his goal was. After a moment, he did find it.
A blue door with a small faintly-blurred window. He looked inside, printing in his mind how it looked like. He closed his eyes and focused, seeing the empty room in his mind. There was a small flash, and he was in the room. When he was in, he immediately pulled himself to the side, in case someone decided to take a look inside. After a few more minutes, he decided that he was okay. He went toward the shelves, were different files were stocked. He searched, and sighed in exasperation, finding that it was only the actual doctors and patients. He searched the whole room, before finding an iron safe. After a bit of manipulations, the safe opened with a small click. Red made a small noise of victory, opening the door. He serached for a moment, before finding what he was looking for: a doctor file, entitled :'Dr Sans Serif' , and a patient file: 'Mr ______' . Red took the files with him, hiding them in his jacket. He put the other files back within the safe, locked the safe once again, erased all eventual traces of his presence, before teleporting away.
