I squinted my eyes open, and stretched a little. My body shot up and I looked around myself. Hospital? I was in a hospital. I can't remember why I'm in here.. And I didn't have anytime to think.
The door flew open in front of me, breaking the silence once filling the room.
"Blake holly shit man!" Devon yelled worriedly as he hugged me tight.
"I thought you were a goner" he sighed, looking down at me. I met my eyes with his for a quick second, and smiled.
"What the fuck happened?" I asked, sounding very startled.
"You zoned out man. You were on your board one minute, and on the ground the next. A truck hit you Blake. You almost died" I could feel my tears coming on, as the memory came flooding back.
Pain...
Then I realize, the flashback I had was real. And I forgot I was even on a skate board. All that time, I thought I was dreaming. And now I'm awake in a hospital. Woah.
"Um, I know you probably don't want any guests but.." He trailed off. I punched his shoulder lightly,
"What?!" I asked eagerly.
"I brought Jai with me, he's been here all night with me. I needed someone while they wouldn't let me in" he explained.
"Oh, well he can come in.. " I say. But I regret it.. I'm in a hospital, and I bearly know the guy. Right now's a sorta awkward visit place, that's all. I sucked it up though, until...
I looked up from my phone screen when I heard feet shuffle in, and the Devon clear his throat. Nice one.
In front of me, was a beautiful human being and if I was a guy, I'd have the hugest boner in God damn history! He had dark brown hair, cut short on the side, and spiked up more at the top. Although, it had a natural wave. He also had big, gorgeous hazel eyes that made you feel warm inside. He was around 5'8" and he had the cutest fat cheeks when he smiled. The boy was dressed in a red vans 'of the wall' shirt and some black skinny jeans that were baggy at the top. He wore plain black vans and a black neff beanie. He was perfect. I don't know what it is about him, but I like it.
"So Blake, this is Jai. Jai Brooks" Devon says as I look up at them.
"Oh hi, I'm Blake. But you know" I bit my lip shyly, as he smiled at me. Omfg!!
"Sorry about what happened, I came here on Devon's request due to him and his loneliness. I just said sure. Plus, he talks about you a lot so it's good to meet you" I smile back and look over a Devon who's rolling his eyes.
"Devon is my best friend" I say plainly, he chuckles cutely and nods.
"So I've heard"

JAI'S POV:
As soon as I walk in that room, I get nervous. But when that girl looked up at me, I lost it inside. She was gorgeous, and so perfect. I fell in love, and I don't even know how. I've never felt that way about anyone, I'm not a player, but I'm not a big lover.. If that makes any fucking sense. I need to get to know this girl. Good thing I'm starting school here in a week.
So, Devon is my great childhood friend and my family has decided to let me stay with him. I was so happy. I had heard a lot about Blake. Just after I arrived at Devon's apartment, he wasn't there. I called him.. And this is where I've ended up. And that's that.
