Falling. (A Kian Lawley Lovestory)

chapter 2

"LOOK OUT !" I scream to Sam, when he almost hits a parked car. He laughs. "idiot" I say laughing. "Get off fatass" Sam says when we arrive.

"wow thanks you're so nice"

I jump off the bike.

"just kidding babe"

He winks.

I laugh.

"hurry up we're late already!" I say to him while he's finding a place for his bike.

"yeah yeah" he nodded.

He puts his bike away and we walk in to the mall, to the big fountain. The big fountain is our meet up place, we always meet there when we are going to do something.

I see Kian waiting at the fountain.

"HEEEEEY" Sam screams to kian.

he laughs, "FINALLY" kian says smiling. I laugh.

"hi" he says to me, not even looking.

I've known Kian for ten years, and we were really good friends, not as good as me and Sam, but really good. whatever, sinds a few months, he's acting really weird, like erm.. detanched. I really don't know what I did wrong, but I don't want to argue about it so I just ignore it.

"hi" it comes out weirder than I expected. "let's go?" Sam asks.

"erm yeah sure" kian says looking at his phone.

Kian and Sam keep talking about things I don't know anything about and I just walk behind them. sigh, sometimes I really wish everything was still the same as it used to be.

when we arrive at the cinema, Sam finally says something to me.

"You get to pick the movie !"

"erm okayy.. how about 21 jumpstreet ?"

"I've already seen that one" kian says sighing.

ugh..

"well you pick then" I say to Kian, but it sounds kind of harsh.

"wow, didn't know you were angry.."

"she's probably having her period" Sam says.

"ugh, dork" I say laughing.

"well I'll pick then" Sam smiles.

"fine with me" Kian says, still annoyed.

Sam chooses a movie and we go find our seats.

"sooo.. who's gonna sit in the middle?" Sam asks. He probably noticed the tension between us.

"I don't care" kian says staring at his phone. ugh..

"well ol can sit in the middle?"

sigh, I hate it when he calls me ol. well obviously he didn't notice the tension. Or he did, but he just wanted to end it by letting us sit next to eachother. Bad idea.

"erm yeah sure" I say with a forced smile. I sit down and the movie starts.

The movie is really funny, but I'm not really in the mood.

I look at Sam, but he obviously likes the movie. I look at Kian, and I catch him looking at me. He quickly looks away.

I'm bored and thirsty so I grab the big cup of coke sam bought but kian grabs at the same time and I get it all over me. fuck.

"great.. I'm going to the bathroom"

I stand up and walk to the girls bathroom. I look in the mirror.

My whole shirt is sticky and full of stains.

I take a napkin and wet a point of it.

I try to clean my shirt but obviously it doesn't help.

I throw away the napkin and splash some water in my face.

I walk back to my seat, and I see kian took mine. I want to say something about it but I keep it in and sit down on kians place.

Now I feel even worse and I just want to go home, but it seems like the movie never ends..
