The other members had kept Jimin and Taehyung separated for the remaining days leading up to their performance. They'd decided to keep the argument from the staff and just resolve it themselves.

Jimin had given Namjoon more space and the rapper seemed to be happier with the decision. The rapper interacted with the other members more now and didn't keep to himself so much. As much as it angered Jimin to see his hyung so happy with the others, he knew it was the right thing to do. He didn't want to let Namjoon go. He just couldn't do it. Giving the man more space was the best he could muster. As long as Namjoon was satisfied with it.

Namjoon couldn't say he wasn't wary of the maknae pair still. Even though they'd toned down their advances towards him he still had somewhat of a sour taste left in his mouth from it all. He noticed that Jimin had given him space. Let him eat his meals with the others, let him be with the others as freely as he'd wanted. Jimin even let him have his room to himself again.

Namjoon didn't want to question the dancer on it. He'd decided to enjoy it before it suddenly disappeared.

His weight had increased. The muscles of his body were building. His skin was shiny and he felt like he could smile again.

He did.

He sat backstage waiting for their performance laughing at Jin's uncle jokes. Jin was trying to ease everyone's minds beforehand. Jimin glanced over at his leader finding himself lost in that dimpled smile he missed so much. It made him smile, to see his leader so bright. The backstage staff were running around making sure the stage sets were in place. The stylists sat them down and brushed their hair. Straightened out their clothes.

Hoseok and Yoongi were discussing the rapline's trio performance. Jungkook was singing to himself warming up his voice. He held his fingers trying to keep them from trembling. Namjoon grabbed the maknae's hands holding them gently. "You'll be fine. Don't worry." The leader reassured his nervous dongsaeng. Jungkook nodded feeling better at hearing those words.

This was what Namjoon was best at. Being a leader. Being a shoulder to lean on. Jimin knew that. It made him feel like even more of a monster. He tried to snatch away BTS's light. Namjoon was their light.

The light Jimin had put out..

The dancer took a large gulp from his water bottle flopping down into his chair watching the screen. Twice had been performing and they were going to be after them. Jimin had to be focused. For this performance he had to forget about everything. He had to forget about his jealousy, Namjoon, all of it. He couldn't crumble on stage. He couldn't show ARMY his weaknesses. He had to be strong. As much as he just wanted to take Namjoon, kiss him, touch him, he had to give him his freedom.

He didn't want to lose him.

He refused to.

A soft touch poked at Jimin's shoulders cutting him out of the many thoughts that were racing through his mind. "How are you feeling?" Jin asked. Jimin sighed running a hand through his bangs. A bad habit he'd had for awhile now. The stylist shook her head menacingly after catching the action. "I'll be alright." Jimin said looking passed the screen eyeing Namjoon whom was joking around with Hoseok.

"Have you seen Taehyung?" Jimin asked, a small ping of uneasiness settling in him.

They'd all showed up to the MaMa awards together, and even walked backstage together. Taehyung had been with them, but he never spoke. Not a word left his mouth the entire time. Jimin wasn't sure if his friend was still mad about the fight or not. It wasn't like Taehyung to hold a grudge though. If anything, that was Jimin's thing. V would have texted him or something by now, but the singer had just been keeping to himself.
