a/n Hey guys. I know I said I'd update more this week, but because I've only got a few weeks left of school, the workload is stacking up. I'm back training four nights a week next week, so I'll see what happens but I'm hoping to get at least two updates out. I'm also working on a Christmas Special chapter, so if there are any couples you want to see in that (or other future parts) let me know. I hope you guys enjoy!

"Did you really?" Amy asks, wonder in her eyes as she sits opposite her best friend cross-legged as the two sit on the bed.

Piper nods, her head bobbing eagerly. "Yeah! So then---" But before Piper can tell the rest of her story, the two hear the doorbell downstairs ring.

"Piper!" Deborah yells from downstairs, assumedly having answered the door. "Lily's here!"

Amy and Piper smile at each other, knowing their other friend had arrived. They could finally get their "party" started!

The door to Piper's bedroom opens, and Lily walks in with a small duffle held in her hand. "Sorry I'm late," she says popping her bag down next to Amy's in the corner of the room. A sigh of relief following.

"Were you and Kingston fighting again?" Everyone at the studio knew of the constant arguments between the pair, and the way Lily was acting (now pacing around Piper's room) Amy knew it probably had something to do with Kingston.

"Yeah," Lily says as she continues her back-and-forth motions around the room - showing no signs of slowing down to join her two friends on the bed. "I wish we didn't. I wish we could have a normal relationship, like you and Finn, and you and Henry," she tells her friends, pointing at each girl respectively.

"Have you tried talking to each other?" Piper suggests.

"Please," Lily breaths. "If I tried, it'd end up in another argument. He can't admit defeat, and I don't like being wrong," she says letting to girls into the secret as to why she and her boyfriend always find themselves fighting. "You and Finn have it so easy."

Just as the statement comes out of her mouth, Lily passes Piper's bookshelf, stopping as she notices the cardboard box Finn had gifted his girlfriend with. Although Lily didn't understand what was so romantic about a cardboard box with pictures of fish on it, Piper knew the meaning and it made her happy, so Lily brushed away the thought of asking the meaning behind it.

"Kingston's never given me a box," Lily says tossing the box over to Piper, who catches it with a smile on her face.

Amy nods her head. "Yeah. Henry hasn't gotten me something like that...and he's the most romantic guy on the team!"

"Tell him to watch out," Piper says looking at the cardboard box as she plays with it in her hands. "Finn might come for his title."

"So, what's the deal with you two anyway?" Lily questions, finally sitting down on the bed.

"Yeah. Don't think we didn't hear him tell you he 'loves you'!" Amy says poking Piper's leg.

"He did," Piper says sighing before finally looking up from the box.

"And what about you?" Lily inquires nudging Piper.

"I love him," Piper mumbles, barely heard by her two friends, who let out a squeal. "But," Amy and Lily stop squealing and focus in on their best friend: something was up. "I'm too afraid to tell him."

"Piper," Amy says, moving up the bed so that she can sit next to her best friend. "It's okay."

"But---" Piper says trying to reason.

"No buts," Lily tells her. "He loves you. There's no reason for you to be scared."

"Yeah," Amy says putting her arm around Piper. "Don't worry."

Piper nods and resorts to tapping the cardboard box to clear her mind. This was 'girls night', not a night for Piper to think about Finn and her feelings for him. "Anyway, how was your date with Henry last night?" she enquires looking up from the box and over to her best friend.

"It was..." Amy struggled to find a word that described last night. She and Henry had gone out to a campsite and set up a camp (like the family camping trip she had recently missed). The two had played games and ate smores. But unlike her date with Finn, this one made Amy feel special - the night was perfect, and at no point did she feel the need to worry about anything - not even Nationals, for once. "Perfect," she finally concluded, a smile on her face.

"Aww!" Piper says clapping her hands together excitedly. "Can I be your maid of honour?" She then asks wrapping her arms around her love-sick friend.

"No," Lily rebuttals, crossing her arms playfully. "That roll will be going to me."

"How about we're both maids of honour?" Piper asks holding out her pinkie for Lily.

"Deal," her friend replies before linking their pinkies.

"It's my wedding," Amy says looking at both her friends. "I'm planning it."

Piper and Lily break from their 'pinkie promise' and both give Amy a look. "So you'll admit, you're getting married?"

Amy shows an evident blush, suddenly realising what she had just told her two best friends - what she had just suggested to them. "Oh shut up!" she laughs before hitting Piper with a pillow, and thus, a pillow fight ensued. Plans of watching a movie now long forgotten.
