the next morning at 6am

rielys alarm rang off with her favorite tune

the small girl got up from bed leaving her room heading to the shower

music blasting from her phone

the kiss from the previous night rang through her head

she got dressed, skipped down the steps and sat in the living room waiting for one of the boys to pick her up

she waited

and waited

and waited

until the clock struck
9:00

"did something happen?"
"did they forget about me?"

her mind was racing as she rang her mothers phone

"mom, do you think you could drop me to school please?" she begged

"no sorry honey i'm already at work, why what happened? aren't the boys supposed to pick you up?"the mother replied

"idk mom, maybe they just forgot about me" riely said, a frown present on her face

"oh well, i guess you'll have to walk i can't leave work right now" the mother stated with an apologetic tune

"okay" riely said hanging up

the girl gathered her things making her way in the direction of the high school her head facing the ground

you see riely mom was an anesthesiologist she worked long hours
ever since riely was a kid her mom was barely present
she would have to rely on her father for whatever she needed

well that was until the ripe age of 13
when he upped and left them to be with his secretary

his reasoning was that he couldn't take only seeing his wife for 2 hours a day
and being stuck with a child that might not be his

riely finally arrived at the double doors that she knew all too well
pushing them open
seeing the halls filled with students as it was the 5 minute passing period

she walked to her locker
head down as it was for most of the morning

opening her locker she saw the boys as well as celia, cynthia, and vic down the hallway in a circle laughing

"nice" she thought
as she made her way to her second period class
