for some reason the air in dining room was thick
riely felt as if she could hardly breathe

to say the least the pair was antsy they could barely keep still in their seats

and riely avoided kairis moms glance every-time the woman would look in her direction rielys head would shift either to her plate of food or to kairi

the mother scened that something wasn't right
"what's going on with you two?" the curious mother questioned
this statement caught the pair off guard causing both of them to snap their necks in her direction

"mom riely and i have something to tell you" kairi sighed looking his mother in the eyes

"well what is it kairi spit it out" the mom said

"ahh can maiya go upstairs first" kairi question with a slight frown

the mother nodded sending her pleading daughter upstairs

"now tell me what's going on?" the questioned again

"i got riely pregnant" kairi spit out

the mothers mouth was agape her eyes were wide and the room was silent

"riely is this true?" the mother asked finally breaking the unbearable silence

"yes ma'am" riely replied looking down at her plate of food  once again

"how far along are you honey?" the mother questioned

"2 months" riely said her head still set on her food

"soo what i'm hearing is grand babies?" she asked a little too excitedly

"yes ma'am indeed" riely answered now facing the woman who had a large smile on her face she

yes kairis felt mom was disappointed but she was happy more than anything
she could see how much love her son had for the girl even if he didn't know it yet
she was also grateful that the baby was with riely rather than one of his ex's
