Sakura's POV

Beep Beep Beep. I groaned as I rolled over to shut off the annoying alarm clock that had to disturb my beauty sleep. Instead of turning it off I knocked it off the nightstand and onto the floor. Even the force it came into contact with didn't shut the thing up. "Ughhhh." I did a dramatic roll off the bed and onto the floor. When I finally turned it off another annoying alarm went off. "Sakura! You beautiful lazy ass princess what your butt up! Oh, why are you on the floor?" The annoying alarm I spoke of was my bestfriend, Ino. For some reason she was always so noisy in the mornings. She didn't give me the time of day to answer as she started rambling on again. "Sasuke made pancakes, hurry up and get ready so we're not late on our first day." She walked back out the room, almost stubbing her toe. I was grateful that Sasuke was a quiet person in the mornings. I don't think I'd be able to handle more noise. First day, huh. All of us were attending the same college while studying different majors. Which is what led us all to live together since we had already became a group in middle school. I grabbed some random clothes, that I knew were clean, off the floor and rushed to take a shower. After the shower I scarfed down Sasuke's pancakes that were surprisingly delicious. "I didn't know you could cook such good pancakes," Ino said the words before I could. He just grunted in response but I knew he was smiling on the inside. " It's funny that we all having morning classes. What are you both taking again?" My mind was still tired though I had already been up for at least an hour.

"Psychology and Sasuke's studying business." I held back laughter as I watched Sasuke try and stuff half of the pancake in his mouth and completely fail at it. I looked to Ino. "I thought you were doing English Language and Literature." She swallowed her eggs before speaking again," I asked and they told me I could study one and then switch to the other each semester. I'll have to take summer classes if I don't want to be left behind by everyone else that's studying those two." Sasuke whistled," no summer parties for you and I know how much you love those." I started cleaning up the dishes as Sasuke continued to tease Ino about summer plans. "Everyone ready?" They both nodded and walked out the door. I made sure to triple check if I had everything before grabbing the keys and locking the door. As we drove to campus Ino couldn't stop putting her hands on the radio. It's safe to say she will no longer be the DJ seeing how she can't let one song play all the way through. "Sasuke you're sitting up here when we go back home." I focused back on the road as I heard them bickering in the background. Blonde hair caught my eye as I parked in reverse. When I got out the blonde blob was gone. I think I'm just tired. "Where do you guys have to go first," Ino asked while trying to block out the sun from her eyes. I searched my body and bag for my phone and turned up empty handed. "Shit. I can't believe I forgot something." I glanced at them as they didn't try to hide their laughter. I mentally groaned and beat myself up.

"I guess I'll have to go to the front and get another schedule." I flung my bag back over my shoulder. "You can walk with me to the front since you wanna keep laughing." While they continued laughing a car almost ran them over. It was my turn to laugh while they both shot me a glare. "Are you both going to the same building?" I asked as I wiped the tears from my eyes. "I have C112 and he has D104," Ino answered for them both as she always does. I noticed she had been doing that a lot. Are they secretly dating? It wouldn't both me at all. I don't time for relationships but they never understand what I really mean when I say that. By the time they actually do understand it'll be too late. "Sakura, are you okay?" Sasuke's voice pulled me out of my trance. Suddenly feeling really guilty, I didn't want to see their faces. "Actually you two go ahead. You'll probably get lost and be late without me dragging you around." When we entered Ino gave me a bone crushing hug and left with Sasuke to their classes. I sighed.

When I finally found the front office there was ten minutes left until class started. "How can I help you dear?" The middle aged woman gave me a toothy smile, well I thought she was smiling at me. I hadn't noticed there was someone else next to me. Blonde hair? He looked at me with a look of disgust, as if I was some unidentifiable creature. "What's your problem?" I asked, trying not to cower before his gaze, although his gaze was very intimidating. His face scrunched up and I could tell that he wished to remove me from his sight. He didn't respond and just stepped up to talk with the woman who looked a little uncomfortable. Another boy showed up and gave me a gentle smile. "Sorry he's like that to everyone so please don't take it personal." I smiled at the boy as he apologized for the blonde's behavior. Before I could ask for his name another woman appeared and called for me. Unfortunately, I ended next to the blonde again. "How may I help you?" Her cheery voice brought me out of the brooding mood I was about to go into. "Umm, I would like a copy of my schedule. I accidentally left my phone at home." She began typing what I assumed was the password to unlock the computer. "Your name?"

"Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno." We both spoke at the same time. I didn't want to look his way, still pissed off from how he acted a few mere minutes ago. I wonder if he forgot his schedule as well? The thought brought a smile to my face as I somehow felt the satisfaction of that being the case. I waited as the printer printed out my schedule. It was awkward, the blonde was still there and the chirpy lady wouldn't stop smiling at me. Finally she handed me my schedule and I gave her a small smile as I turned to leave the abnormal atmosphere. B103. I suppose that's the building over there right? There was something wrong about my schedule. Why does it say art? Did I accidentally apply for art instead of dance? The day had already gotten off to a bad start. Not only that but why is the jackass and the gentleman following me? I started speed walking trying to not show how uncomfortable I was. Unexpectedly, I felt a tap on my shoulder and kicked whoever it was, feeling short of breath and a little dizzy. I shouldn't have done that. I looked to see who it was and felt really guilty. "That's one hell of a kick."

"You're the handsome gentleman from earlier." I covered my mouth, hating myself that I've always been naturally honest. His chuckle made me feel less embarrassed. "My name's Shikamaru," he offered his hand and I shook it," I didn't mean to scare or follow you. It's just that we have the same class as you and didn't exactly know where to go since they gave him the completely wrong schedule." He pointed to the blonde that was standing a relatively far distance away from me. "I hope that you don't always follow people around, Shikamaru. It's creepy." He pulled his hand back and showed a nervous smile. " I think it's just up here. Sorry if this offends you but neither of you look like the art type." I had noticed that while Shikamaru started walking next to me the blonde still kept his distance. " My main major is actually Business. I didn't know what to pick as an arts class so they gave me something random. As for Naruto, he just does a bit of everything." I noted the blonde's name, intending to make sure I don't come into contact with the jackass. Focusing back on Shikamaru I said," I have a friend who's also doing business. Maybe you'll have the same class as him. Here we are." I looked down at the paper to make sure it was correct before walking in. Shikamaru was about to say something before the jackass, I mean Naruto, intervened. "Let's go. Stop talking to this trash." I rolled my eyes as Shikamaru, once again, apologized for his rude friends' behavior. After all of that, they ended up sitting in the row behind me.

I wasn't paying attention to the teacher as she gave her self introduction. Most of the class I could feel a hole being burned in the back of my head. This asshole is really pushing my buttons this early in the morning. I didn't get enough sleep to deal with this dude's shit. The only thing that had stopped me from snapping at him was Shikamaru. He makes up for the lack of Naruto's manners. Not to mention he makes me smile unlike that Jackass that makes the tension in my shoulders a pain in the ass to deal with. Speaking of, I'll need to take my meds soon. I heard the professor say something about being paired up for a major project. It's only the beginning of the school year. "And the last two are Naruto Uzumaki and Sakura Haruno. The good news is that you have all year to complete this assignment. No matter what type of 'art' you prefer, it has to be something grand. No small projects. The bigger and more detailed the better. I'll leave you the rest of class to get acquainted with your partner." This is fucking great.
