CHASE'S POINT OF VIEW

Today, the Black family is coming.

And, I don't know whether to be excited or sad about it.

Today was a weekend. So the school was off.

I decided to make today's breakfast for all of us, like usual. Cooking, doesn't calms me down but it distracts my mind from other stupid things that plagues my mind. So, not loving cooking was never an option, neither was there a phase when I've not loved cooking.

I am like the type of person who can never eat alone. And, I also love to try different types of dishes. Dad, is not able to take us to different restaurants all the time cause he works to provide for us. So, from there I started this habit of cooking myself, different dishes. And, the habit grew, I guess.

I made grilled sandwich, quesadilla, mac and chees and milkshake.

All family members came downstairs and started filling their respective plates. Well, George filled Fred's and vice versa. It's like their own little thing. Which I find cute, to be honest. Disgusting, only when they share their used spoons. Yuck!

"What the heck is this?" came a voice of Blake King. My eyebrows furrowed and I looked at in his direction, just in time to see him spitting some of the sandwich out. "Can't you make something good for once?" he stopped and then considered my face, "Or stop cooking for good, huh?"

Percy seconded that. But nonetheless ate it. My face fell. I could feel the pressure under my eyeline, but I didn't dared to drop a single tear.

I don't know why they didn't like my food. I thought it was tasty, smelt pretty good and looked awesome, too. I guess, they don't have taste. I felt sorry for their taste buds for not understanding such an impeccable taste. Yes, that's why I was crying. What do you thought? Lies.

"Shut up, you all dumbasses. " Dad saId in a firm, authoritative voice laced with anger. "You don't get such good  food everywhere. " He said with a mouthful of it, which made him look less stern, "

"Eat it, don't know when she will stop caring for your selfish asses and stop cooking, or even caring. " he murmured the last part. "But, Chase? " this time his attention was on me. I was greatful that I have such an amaing Dad. "Yes, papa? " my voice came a little shakier, that I so wanted to hide.

"Don't stop cooking for me just because these dumbasses don't know how to appreciate something good. It's the best. I don't know what went wrong with these fuc- I mean truckers.." Dad shook his head and gave me a sad smile which I returned.

ANDREW'S POINT OF VIEW

How could they say this? The food which Chase makes is the best. I'm sure they are gonna regret whatever they are doing now to Chase, in future. I sighed sadly and turned my head towards them," Don't take her love for granted." Andrew said.

"Chill Dad! It doesn't matter. She'll come running towards us after sometime, like always." There was a murmur of 'yes' after this.

Shaking my head in disbelief and disapproval. I cursed myself out internally thinking where I went wrong and why I let this escalate this far?
