Three calls and calming a sobbing mess later, Sebastian sighed, utterly tired from today's turn of events. The first call was for Nixen, to help their mom and Oliver. God knows how it might take a toll on her, especially when she's pregnant.
Doctor already said, it's a high risk pregnancy.
Her husband and her daughter, whom she loves more than her sons. There was no doubt or hard-feelings present in any of the brothers becasue of this.
Second, was to confirm about their step-father's health, as Chase's wouldn't stop worrying about him. And that call didn't help much, as the doctor said he was still in a surgery and so was the uncle.
And, the third one was for his good-old friend, Harris. He's an officer.
After noticing the signs of abuse on Chase's body. He thought it would be good to gather some evidence before they fade.
He still wasn't able to make Chase speak about what actually happened, she still looked pretty shaken and hurt. The slight good thing was she didn't said anything when they took the evidences of the beating, some pictures. She wanted to prove, and that's a good thing.
Her room, looked destroyed with all the bloody mess, torn sheets, clothes and broken vases. Even if she didn't said it, it was quiet obvious, what actually happend. Ane he still can't get over the fact that the king's were dumb enough to ignore those evidences.
The said girl, was sleeping not so peacefully on the hospital's bed. They just came here and soon the nurses would be bustling in and out to treat her.
Her eyebrows were furrowed, body fidgeting and sweaty forehead. She was having a bad dream and he was beating himself for not having done anything before to stop this from ever happening. All he could do was helplessly watch.
He had called the ambulance, it was much later when he saw the possible not-so-minor wounds on her body that made him act fast.
If only he paid more attention.
