Chapter 5

Hey loves!!! Its around 1am while I'm writing this, but I wanted to get a chapter in before I went to bed!! But normal posting will be at around 10pm every night!!

The sun glared through the window, why the hell did it shine that way. I swear any place other than France has shitty sunsets. My head was throbbing, this was not gonna be a good day. I've had the worst luck these past couple of days and everything was happening so fast. If you would have told me a week ago, I would be here I would have laughed or cried.

Probably both.

I checked my phone to see several messages from Leo, what did he want? I decided to use my better judgement for once and ignore him. We left things the way we did for a reason, he didn't deserve all this drama and me being gone was better for everyone. Plus if Gabe and Max found out I was texting him they'd probably fly back to beat his ass.

"NAT GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE, BREAKFEAST" Gabe called.

My stomach was growling, I barely ate anything the past 24 hours. I got up, put some clothes on and headed downstairs.

To my astonishment I seen all three of them sitting in a round table in what looked like the dining room. One big happy fucking family. They all looked at me as I approached them. I sat down in between my brothers because their was no way in hell I was sitting with Richard.

Breakfast looked good, I'll give them that. On the table was pancakes, croissants (thank god the one food with quality taste that you can find anywhere), and various meats and eggs. They watched me as I served myself. I could literally taste the tension as I ate. Then he spoke.

"Soo kids, I hope you guys slept well last night... I have to go into the city today so I wont be back till mid-afternoon, you guys are welcome to walk to the town center... there is various different shops and places to eat and do... the town center is only about a 10 min walk from here." Richard said.

Was he for real? Leaving us to navigate our way in a foreign country, In a foreign town, and WALK? There was no way in hell they would agree to-

"Yess sirrrr, I wanna scope out the American girls and finally ride our new skateboard we brought" Max cheered.

"Oh shit, I FORGOT MINE IN THE CAB WHEN HE DROPPED US OFF AT THE AIRPORT" Gabe yelled.

I was internally laughing at him, what a fucking airhead. They immediately got up and dialed my mother. Leaving Richard and I alone, staring face-to-face.

He broke the silence.

"So, natalia.. what are you most excited about Vermont?" he stuttered

"Leaving" I said and meant it.

"Natalia-" Richard exclaimed.

"Richard.. its fine you don't have the play the dad- roleplay when my brothers aren't around... the only reason I'm even sitting here is because of them. Because they are my blood and I love them, I am staying...but that doesn't come with getting to know you" I said.

He looked sad, and just stared down at his plate. I think he got the hint, well I prayed he did. I don't know how much more of this I can take.

Just then Gabe and Max walked in.

"Okay so mama said Gabe could get a new board while were shopping and that she'll replace the one we lost in France" Max exclaimed.

They looked relieved. Wait.. fuck that meant I would have to go into town with them and go shopping with them- no.
