I hate him.
How could he tell her? After everything I said to him about her, and he tells her my biggest secret!
I knew it was too good to be god damned true, but no, my heart had to go and mess everything.
I glanced to my desk, wiping away the tears that were still tumbling down my cheeks, and saw my phone buzzing. Again.
I think it was time to pick up.
I didn't have chance to get a word in.
"Laura, I'm so -" I cut him off.
"Stop. Just stop. I asked you to tell nobody. You knew how much this meant to me, you betrayed my trust. We are over. I can't even speak to you."
"Please, Laura, just hear me out."
"Fine. You've got two minutes."
"Okay, So when you left, I called Janet, and told her everything. I just, I had to tell someone, and I didn't even consider that my cousin Janet was Your ex bestfriend janet! I'm so sorry, Laura. I really am." He pleaded with me.
"I pointed her out to you, at lunch just the other day! You're an idiot, you know that? I can't believe You'd do that! Like I said, just don't speak to me, ever again." I hung up on him.
My chest throbbed. Like as if someone was punching my heart.
And this was just the beginning.
