I felt that I was being tied up with metal chains. They pulled hard and I was unable to move. I blinked vividly when they removed the bag. I tried to look around while my eyes were slowly adjusting to the light. I saw Fire Nation soldiers walking away from me and they closed the heavy door behind them.

I desperately looked around, trying to come up with an escape route, but there was no way I could ever get out of here alone. I wondered where Aang was, and if he was doing okay. I thought about Sokka and Katara, who were all alone and sick lying on the cold ground. I grunted and let my head down.

The door opened and a familiar face appeared. A smirking Zhao walked in. "Yuyan Archers? Really?" I asked when he stopped in front of my face. "I don't like to get my own hands dirty." He replied. "Why don't you untie me and think twice?" I asked and smirked. I took a deep breathe and exhaled, letting the hot steam rise back in my face.

"Istari Hou Xing.." Zhao said and shook his head, laughing, "Always so... belligerent." He turned his back towards me and walked towards the door. "You have the Avatar. What do you need me for?" I yelled after him.

Zhao shrugged. "The Fire Lord wants to talk to you." I raised my eyebrows. "Just like he wanted to talk to my parents, huh?" I replied. "That is not going to happen." Zhao shook his head and turned around. "You have the Avatar, that is all you need. You don't need me!" I yelled again.
"That remains to be seen," Zhao said and smirked, "goodnight." He said when he walked to the door. The door closed behind him, hard loud.

"COME BACK!" I yelled as I angrily struggled in my chains. They were hurting terribly and I felt very tired. "Save your strength." I whispered to myself as i was panting. I wanted to sleep, but I was just too tired to do so. I was sickly worried about Katara and Sokka and how Aang was doing. I should have never gone with Aang, or challenge Zhao. But it was too late. I was here now. After quite some time, the door suddenly opened. I looked up and saw someone stepping in with a blue mask.

It looked like the Blue Spirit. He grabbed two Dao Swords and started to swing them around when he ran up towards me. "NO!" I yelled and I blew Fire out of my mouth towards the spirit. He avoided my pity flame but the Blue Spirit cut the chains of her hands and walked away. "Wait, why did you do that?" I asked slowly while I was rubbing my wrist.

The Blue Spirit held up and one of his Dao Swords and walked away. "Not the talkative type, huh?" I said quietly and I followed the Blue Spirit. "My friend is here, you need to set him-"

"-Istari!" Aang ran up to me and hugged me tightly. "Oh, Aang, I'm so happy to see you. Are you alright?" I asked him. He nodded and looked to the Blue Spirit. He nudged his head towards the hallway. Aang and I exchanged looks and we nodded. We are going to escape. When we walked through the hall, we saw some of the guards tight up on the ground. The Blue Spirit grabbed us by the hand and pulled us with him, running through the hallway. A few frogs jumped out of Aang's shirt. "Wait! My friends need to suck on them!" He said panicky, but the Blue Spirit had no intention of stopping. We ended up in the sewers under the fortress. The Blue Spirit looked up and he climbed out. Aang and I followed him cautiously.

We quickly made our way to the high wall of the fortress, where a rope was hanging down. I went first and was followed by the Blue Spirit and Aang. When I made my way over the edge, I started to go down on the other side of the wall, the side of freedom. When I was halfway, I heard the bell ringing loudly. A warning sign. "There, on the wall!" Someone yelled. I looked up and saw a man standing above me. Before I could do or say anything, he cut the rope and I fell down. It was a long fall. With both my hands I scraped down the wall, trying to grab a tile that was sticking out. I succeeded, and with a loud thud I fell in the dirt. "I made it." I whispered and smiled as I stood up. My smile soon faded when I was looking at another wall in front of me. I stood down against the wall as I saw the soldiers running up to me. The soldiers suddenly stopped and looked up the sky.
